Morocha, she's beautiful.
Sorry to hear they're having to investigate Autism so soon Sammie, but the quicker any intervention is started the better the outcome long term.x
We've had a Daddy's day today. T and him get on so well. DH can bang about, make T jump, sit still for ages with him just sitting there and T is quite happy. If I do any of these things he gets upset with me... ahhh a Daddy's boy. Atleast I get the feeding, he loves me then
Good luck with the move Gilly, sounds major.

Sorry to hear that Sammie, hope you're doing ok. Can't find that dodgy hug smiley on the iPad but you know the one I mean
. Do you have long to wait for the appointment with Portage?
Very cute Morocha! Love the headband.
My mum is visiting at the moment so its a full house here (as if a one bed flat isn't full enough with the two of us and George anyway!). So George is being spoilt rottenNewborn thread member

Ahh thanks ladies. He's still running around the lounge like a loon so at least he's happy!
Katiechoc - I'm not sure how long we have to wait, we are still waiting for him to see a speech and language therapist too so I think we just go with the flow for now. How is your mum now?:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

I've started shopping for LO's autumn/winter wardrobe
By starting early and buying an item here and there across lots of different shops, I'm able to avoid pinkmania. I don't mind a bit of pink, but I've major issues with shops that think that's all you should be wearing if you're a girl (Primark et al, I'm looking at you ). Found a fab jumper and a really nice cardigan in Bhs today - usually one of my no-go places due to the amount of pink, but much to my surprise some of their autumn stuff for girls is in colours like blue and grey. LO loves the shiny buttons on her new cardigan - she didn't want to take it off come bedtime, even though I'd only wanted to check if it fitted her!
Add to that some things bought from H&M, M&S and Sainsbury's over the past couple of weeks, and we're almost done! Still need a warm jacket - that's probably going to be the toughest challenge yet when it comes to avoiding pink, but I will not be defeated

Next have some gorgeous non pink jackets Nutella
A rather really nice navy blue one.

Ooh nutella I love pink! It's probably a good thing I don't have a little girl as I would constantly dress her in pink or leopard print, think mini Bet Lynch!:)DS1 10yrs

Ah bless him Sammie! G tends to go a bit hyper right before bedtime too.
My mum is good thanks, the docs seem to have found what was making her worse earlier this year and she's taking some antibiotics for it. Really nice having her here as its been over a year since she last came down, and I think its nice for her to see G in his space rather than when we visit her if that makes sense?
M&s had some nice girly stuff in last autumn, in purple, mustard and grey colour combos. I was tempted, but it wouldn't really look right on G, he's too much of a boy :rotfl:Newborn thread member

Thanks for the tips re. Next and M&S - will definitely have a look! Bought some lovely summer stuff from M&S, so here's hoping they can keep up the good work next season too! Gilly, I love navy blue - she had a lovely navy tweed coat from Sainsbury's(of all places!) last winter. Sammie, your post made me laugh
I can live with pink in small quantities, but what annoys me is when I'm given no choice and retailers think that girls' clothing MUST be pink. Grrrr!

We love Navy here too, he's been bought a gorgeous quilted Barbour jacket for his winter coat this year, I didn't pay for it thankfully  but it really is beautiful! I have bought him a pair of Navy Hunter Wellies to go with it
We have all of our 18-24 sorted really but I don't have a clue when he'l be in it, he is just outgrowing his 9-12m stuff now!The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
