Hallo ladies
Just a quick hi from us, we're in Devon, visiting my cousin for a few days. It's A's first time away from home and she's really being very good. She was also very good on the drive down, 5hrs driving and an hour stopped along the way.
Hope all those who're ill recover soon and everyone else goes back to good nights

Don't know if any of you have seen the advert for (I think) dreamlites? They are animals with a light projector thing on top, they attach on to the cot and project stars and a animal on the ceiling!
We bought the puppy one and its gotten lo off to sleep within 5 minutes, we've put our room in total darkness with just that on changing colours and he's off to dream land.
Not feeling too unwell, luckily went straight to Drs when a white spit appeared on my throat, got some penicillin tablets to take and pretty much done a days worth of them today so hoping by Sunday (christening) all will be better.
For those that got their lo christened, did you get them a present from you? If so.. what?Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
We don't go to church, so no christening here, but I'd probably buy something he could keep, if you were going to buy somethingThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Thanks for the replies everyone. Took Amelia to the docs this morn and he said there was no sign of anything wrong with her, its just one of those baby things apparently  He looked at the back of her throat and said there was no sign of any spots. Tried looking since but she's not playing ball. Will check again in the morn. She does seem a bit brighter today though so hoping whatever it is, she's on the mend.
If she does have spots when I check tomorrow I will be straight back to the docs
Sorry everyones ill lately
Gotta go, Amelias been dosed up with ibuprofen and is currently doing laps of the living room. She's not tired cos she's been sleeping on and off all afternoon :j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
We haven't got T christened yet, but don't plan to get him anything from us. We'll get a nice photo of the day. We're a bit tight really, haven't got him much at all from us, but we've had lots of generous gifts from others, he'll not need clothes buying for another few months!
Dreamlite sounds great, anything that gets LO to sleep quicker.
Night all.x0 -

Forgot to say MrsH, I have one similar to the dreamlites. Its THIS one. Its not bad but the music is really tacky and the heartbeat function does not sound at all like a heartbeat!
Im sure the dreamlites one would be better though!!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

I'm wearing a black and white top and pencil skirt, the top finishes just before the skirt if you know what I mean? Got it from ri a while ago, lo has a satin romper from debenhams, had to get 6-9 because for some reason there is a tight band round the middle that I couldn't get over him in 3-6.
We can't agree on what to buy him so I think we just won't! Rubbish!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -

Nicei have a similar style outfit for a night out on sat. Like a crop top I suppose but the skirt comes really high so no skin on show really!
The romper sounds super cute too
He will get tons of presents from the guests anyway, he wont need anything from you xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea
