Said the gp could test Mollie to see if it is Measles so we would know if Amelia will get it. So why on earth didn't he say that yesterday?!
She also said Amelia could have the MMR jab but she's probably got it already so up to me if I want her to have it. She said if she's ill they wont give her the jab anyway
So now I don't know what to do
Have you considered it might be chickenpox? Certainly going around at the minute!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thankd Delain, I did think of chickenpox but it isn't itching her at all and doesn't look like chickenpox either
I've been consulting Dr Google and the nearest I can find to it is Roseola:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
Hi ladies, hope you and bubbas are all ok!
Cake - hope Mollie is feeling better and Amelia doesn't end up ill!
Fluff - how's Freddie after his stairs incident?
Lil miss has been pulling herself up on anything she can get her hands on and has started walking along holding the sofa, coffee table and has been using the curtains as support opening and closing them as she moves along - baby proofing is now top of my list, my oh's first instinct was to move his Xbox out of reach so she doesn't break that rather then worrying about her pulling the curtain rail down, bookcase over or face planting on the coffee table - he's such a big kid!
Finally confirmed my return to work date, but the hours work want me to do won't fit in with childcare so we're still negotiating those, the total hours are fine but starting at 8 with an hours commute isn't going to be possible, sure we'll get there eventually!
After working in minimum wage jobs and studying/training since he came to this country as his qualifications weren't recognised my oh started a new job today and he's loved it so far touch wood - the extra wages will be wonderful and means we will actually have some money to start saving even though I'll only be going back 3 days a week, I'm ridiculously happy for him and us lol.0 -

Thankfully in one piece, although he gave them (the stairs) a filthy look when we walked past them earlier. He's probably got post-traumatic stress or something and will be consigned to a life of escalators, lifts and stannah stairlifts. Kayalana, ditto for your little man - hope there were no injuries.
No me and OH were deep in coversation and looked up to see LO was on the floor.... we was abit shocked tbh OH couldn't stop laughing and put him back in the walker again to see if he did it which he did but he stopped him this time from actally going down.... needless to say we won't be using it anymore.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -

Squeaks aren't/didn't either... I took her to the nurse thinking she'd been bitten and was told chickenpox, my older 3 have had it before too!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I'm back on the 2nd September so lil lady will be 9 months, surviving on smp has been hard enough I can't afford the full year but have plenty of time to prepare myself thankfully0 -
I've made a bit of a decision. I'm not going to go to any more mums and babies/mums and toddlers groups. I've tried and tried, but I can't abide them and I figure it's not much fun for Freddie if I'm on edge. I've met some lovely women through my post-natal pilates and we hang out together with our babies. Similarly I've met some of you from here and I'm always keen to meet up if there's something nearby. I just can't cope with those groups where you don't know anyone, you drink bad quality coffee whilst everyone ignores you, or worse, you have to sing awful songs. What is it with wind the bobbin up?? Tuneless, dull, appalling!
From now on Freddie and I are going to chill together. I read a really liberating article from a woman who felt the same way and said that with her second child she didn't bother with groups and felt she bonded much better because they just spent time together. He'll go to pre-school and he'll see my friends' babies - I just ain't ever gonna sing wind the !!!!ing bobbin up again."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
OMG. First time !!!!!EVER!!!!! I put Dewi down awake and he actually went to sleep!!!0
