A baby I know always has a lot of it. Orange and all over his ears. I was just wondering if it was an overproduction thing or just it not being wiped away?

    Morning all :)

She slept from 7.30pm to 5am without so much as a peep :j And I didn't wake up at all! I've had a full night's sleep for the first time in a year and a half! :j

It's my day off today :) LO is on her first nap - I've just had a shower, done some laundry, cleaned the bathroom and provided the raspberry bush with some emergency water, and am about to make frittata for our lunch. Don't have much planned for today - it's another scorcher, so I think our back garden is the best place to be :)

    Hope everyone is well x

Yay for such a good night Nutella! :T. Fingers crossed it continues!

Hot here too, so much so that when we went out to hang the washing George ran straight over and chucked himself into his paddling pool - clothes, nappy and shoes!

Play group for us this afternoon - they have air conditioning :D

Thanks for the GAP code Nutella & great news about the sleep.
Saf: Can't believe 4 months have gone since your sister passed away, your Mum will cherish A I'm sure and you'll probably love spending the time with her.
T has missed his Nan today, demanding full on attention all day... I'm pooped! Went to the park and sat under the shade of a tree for most of the afternoon, he loved it, he likes trees ... well leaves, and seemed to settle him nicely.
Rang Vicar to try and start the ball rolling with T's Christening, planning on October, but we've to meet her first and introduce ourselves.
    Still hot!

The vicar's hot? Nice. We made do with a normal looking one, but I'm sure a hot one would have looked even better in the pictures :D

    Thanks nutella!!

I ended up buying a white mei tai, I'm looking forward to it arriving!!! I'll try the hip carrier mode and see if it's not so hot that way. I've been carrying her forward facing most of the time this month, and I just read is not good for them!? I'll try back carrier too, but I need to feel confident with it first and make sure she likes it. She loved the forward facing mode, though, and she was sat instead of dangling, as my Stokke carrier allows that, but I don't know it that makes any difference. Not for the heat anyway, forward facing or not, I was sweating within minutes. Let's see if this one is cooler.

When do you think Kate's baby will arrive? I think on Sunday, she'll be a girl and she'll be called Elizabeth Diana :D I hope not Victoria, I thought it wouldn't be a popular name and my girl wouldn't have friends called like her! Lol

  • Wow!!! Fuming! Nurse from drs has just given me a lecture on why I'm postponing my lo last jabs until the weather cools!! Erm.... Because its 30 degrees and why would I put him through feeling off or potentially a fever or being ill in this weather!! Am I crazy?

Has it anything to do with her anyway? I'm not bothered about her opinion, I am his mother, me and oh have spoken about this and are happy with the decision!

I feel like putting in a complaint, but I have a feeling that it was the drs wife who rang me and is also the practice manager therefore I would be complaining to her about her! Lol

Hmmm my lo has her next jabs next tuesday and it hadn't entered my head to consider delaying them. Where I'm from it regularly gets up to 40 in the summer with humidity pushing it higher so I'm loving this warm weather. In fact I'll be taking lo home with me in the height of our summer to avoid winter here!

But only you and OH can make decisions for your lo and as long as you're happy with your decision it has nothing to do with anyone else. Re complaints; I work in the NHS and actively encourage patients to make complaints if they have one (or several) so I'd say go for it.

We're having a quiet day, getting on with painting. I've just ordered the replacement carpet for the stairs and landing so now have a deadline to work to to get everything else done ready for the fitting.

Hope you're all having a lovely day

Erm that came out wrong didn't it?! The vicar is a lovely lady but not what I would describe as hot!

I think you're quite sensible to postpone the jabs MrsH if it's only a week out can it matter that much? They're not mixing much in this heat so unlikely to catch much at the mo anyway.

I too thought I don't want the new prince or princess to have the same name as lo. Although I've not helped myself with " Edward" .
I think a girl and on Tuesday.
Off to have an ice lolly
