Hi all, I think I popped in and said hi before but I can't remember. LO is 17 days old now, can't believe how fast it's gone with me being stuck in hospital so much.
Thankfully there's a bit of a breeze today, so the temperature finally feels like it's dropping and we can take her out in the pram for some fresh air0 -
Am I the only one who prefers weekdays when OH goes to work at the moment? He doesn't do anything for A unless I specifically ask, lies about in bed half the day (because he stayed up late watching tv) and upsets our routine. We're currently decorating the hall/landing and he keeps moaning about how long its taking but won't take A for a bit in the evening after work so I could paint and he spends half the weekend in bed. Grrr0

Yep yep yep! I find that I'm in a bad mood because I have my own routine during the week and think "I'm tidying this mess because he works" so when he's at home and I'm re tidying because he's made a mess I start to get really cheesed off with it! We've had many conversations about it but nothing changes! I'm hoping when lo gets older and they can do boy stuff together that he'll take over more!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -

Hello ladies
What a change in weather all of a sudden! 23 degrees and cloudy here today. But still warm enough for a picnic - LO and I met up with a couple of friends (one of whom I hadn't seen in four years as she lives in the US) for brunch this morning. LO enjoyed running around and looking at all the swans and geese
Discovered this morning that she's got another ear infection. Yellow goo coming out of her earThat explains the screaming a couple of nights ago - the poor thing must have been in pain and I didn't give her any Nurofen
Today she's been all smiles though, and we had a good night, but the doctor did tell me that ear infections are a lot more painful before the yellow goo stage due to the pressure inside the ear...
MrsH, good to hear that the rash is better
Gilly, hope packing goes well! Only 6 weeks to go - exciting!
Hope everyone else is well x0 -
Poor girly Nutella, she seems to be a bit of a magnet for ear infections doesn't she. Glad she's a bit happier now at least.
Nice and cool too, we walked into town earlier and didnt roast! Set to heat up again though - Tuesday and Wednesday are meant to get to 33 and 32 degrees c. Think we'll be getting our money's worth out of his£2.99 paddling pool.

Know what you mean Saf, but T is much better behaved when OH around, so our days are better overall with him home, but normally only has a day off once a week... maybe the infrequency helps!
We've been much cooler here today. Overcast all day but due to be about 20degrees and only patchy cloud tomorrow, that's the sort of weather I'd like all the time.
Poor little Nutella, hope she feels better soon.
Sparkles I love that you're still counting in days, hope everything is going well.

Also had to add that OH is watching Star Wars with T, getting him started early.
I commented that being born on May 4th, he may well be having Star Wars themed birthdays and OH just said "really, is that his birthday? If you asked me I don't think I could say when his birthday was." ... Good God, how quickly he forgets!0 -

:rotfl:This made me laugh - my OH is terrible with birthdays, anniversaries and the like! He forgot my birthday last year despite being reminded of it (we've been together for 14 years!), asked me last week when our wedding anniversary is and has forgotten his own birthday more than once. But remarkably, he really does know when our little girl was born. Btw, my OH's birthday is 4th May. Although I know nothing about Star Wars, so have no idea what that connection is!0 -
I've got it I've got it I've got it (I think)
MAY THE 4th BE WITH YOU!!!!
