Breastmilk's great for eyes, I agree. But sunshine's little boy was probably weaned ages ago as he's one of our big boys, although I'm happy to pop round and give you a squirt .

Oops! Sorry!!!:D Everything in my life seems to consist of breastmilk at the mo - I forget that others have been there and done it! I am living in a breastmilk haze.....I'm sure there's life after breastmilk.....

Oops hope I haven't started something on the pregnancy thread, a lady had provided a link to a woman with anorexia and pregnant, she then put "I feel sorry for the baby" and I didn't like that so I commented. Anyway hope it doesn't get blown up. Seems sometimes on these threads people get defensive so quickly!

Anyway hope you ladies are enjoying the sun, me and on tried to take lo out for a walk but it was so awkward and just a disaster so we went to town and came home after. I love being able to put washing out on the line, makes me feel grown up! Hahaha I'm so sad! 24 and feeling grown up putting washing out!

I'm due my next shot of depo next week and I'm not going to have it, I think it's made me very irritable and made me moody, these last few months I've wanted to rip oh head off every time he spoke, made a noise, looked at me! I don't know what other method I'm going to go for, I'll have to start looking now, don't want to get pregnant again now, that would be silly.

Hope you ladies are all ok, I remember rups, she was always worrying about one thing or another, but she made me feel better because she'd ask the questions I wanted answers to lol!

Re : conjunctivitis, my GP once told me I could clean the area with cotton and camommille tea (sp?). Not hot, obviously!

My SS has had conjunctivitis this week sunshine and it presented with no gunk and swelling only. I thought hayfever tbh and antihistamine took the swelling right down....but doc said it was conjunctivitis so it can cause swelling.

My LO has had his first set of 13m jabs yesterday and is a grumpy poorly boy today. We've been up since 3:30 (I'm used to him sleeping 7:30-6:15!) and he's currently sprawled across my lap snoring his head off, wearing nothing but a nappy :D

I had the implant (same hormones!) And was awful too. I reckon its so effective as contraception because you'd rather kill your OH than jump them :rotfl:

Have taken my 2 little folks for haircuts today after OH threatened to do it with clippers

We've had the paddling pool out today and am hoping to have a lie in tomorrow! Can't see it happening though :o

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the sunshine
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o

My Dr refused to let me have the depo, tbh they messed about with my contraception so much before I fell pregnant I ended up falling pregnant! My options were cerazette or the implant and there was no way I was having the implant so stuck on a pill I don't want to be on but baby number 2 isn't an option atm so sticking with it for now and had no side effects at all but on googling it I'm unusual in that sense lol.

    Evening all :)

Sunshine and Turtle, hope your boys are doing OK.

Good day here - we went to the annual community festival (which we'd never been to despite having lived here for 10 years...) in our local park. It will be absolutely fab when LO's a bit older as there were tons of fun stuff for children. I bought a really cute giraffe painting for her room from one of the little stalls - because one can never have too many giraffes :D

Also had a nap, did some mopping and hoovering and mowed the lawn, and then the Sainsbury's delivery turned up. LO loves Sainsbury's deliveries - they bring lots of carrier bags full of all sorts of stuff that can be explored :) For some reason there was a packet of prawns in one of the bags - I didn't order it and wasn't charged for it, so it's just a shame that no one in our house eats prawns! :o

Hope everyone else had a good day and enjoyed the sunshine x

    Morning ladies :)

Hope everyone had a good night (in fact I hope you're all still asleep!). My LO slept until 5.25! :j I know for some of you that may sound painfully early, but it's a vast improvement on the usual 4.30. Here's hoping it continues.

If anyone needs a cure for constipation, here's what to do: make yourself a nice breakfast (because it's the weekend and you deserve it), then a lovely hot coffee. Get ready to sit down and enjoy, and voila! your LO will do a poo :o Just back from a quick nappy change, 'enjoying' my lukewarm coffee.

Speaking of poo (as you do...), we're now trying her on goat's milk. We'd switched to cow's milk over a period of six weeks, gradually decreasing the formula and increasing the cow's milk, and she seemed fine with it, but in the last couple of weeks (when she's had cow's milk only), her poo's been hard and a bit like rabbit pellets, and I'm convinced the milk is to blame - I've been googling and it seems we're not alone! So I've been researching alternatives and settled on goat's milk, which is meant to be easier to digest. So far, so good - what was in her nappy just now (TMI alert!) was nice and soft. And no complaints about the taste either :)

Off to watch 'Peep and the big wide world' - she loves it :D

Have a good day all x

Nutella - I read that line in bold ALLLLLLLL wrong!!!!!!!!!! :D Glad things seem to be ok with the Goats milk though!

Sunshine - Cooled boiled water if its just a sticky eye and fluff can't squirt that far :D Not sure about if it is conjunctivitis. Our LO had sticky eye at 2 weeks old :(

No news here other than we have a sitter-upper! :D It has opened up a whole new world of playing!
