Ooo. I'd love to see some pics! Yes, sleepy vibes to all the babies! Mine has already woken once
put him down at 8 and he woke at 8.30! Strange child does this to me all the time. Thankfully it only took a quick cwtch and some shushing to get him back down

Ahh good to hear Rups is OK Bamama, she was such a character on the pregnancy thread. I should definitely do some photography classes I think, I have a decent camera just don't know what to do with it basically! :rotfl:
Off to google Rose & Rebellion carriers....0 -

Morning ladies
Hope everyone had a good night (in fact I hope you're all still asleep!). My LO slept until 5.25! :j I know for some of you that may sound painfully early, but it's a vast improvement on the usual 4.30. Here's hoping it continues.
If anyone needs a cure for constipation, here's what to do: make yourself a nice breakfast (because it's the weekend and you deserve it), then a lovely hot coffee. Get ready to sit down and enjoy, and voila! your LO will do a pooJust back from a quick nappy change, 'enjoying' my lukewarm coffee.
Speaking of poo (as you do...), we're now trying her on goat's milk. We'd switched to cow's milk over a period of six weeks, gradually decreasing the formula and increasing the cow's milk, and she seemed fine with it, but in the last couple of weeks (when she's had cow's milk only), her poo's been hard and a bit like rabbit pellets, and I'm convinced the milk is to blame - I've been googling and it seems we're not alone! So I've been researching alternatives and settled on goat's milk, which is meant to be easier to digest. So far, so good - what was in her nappy just now (TMI alert!) was nice and soft. And no complaints about the taste either
Off to watch 'Peep and the big wide world' - she loves it
Have a good day all x0 -
Hi ladies
Advice please....A has woken with swollen sticky eyes. Drs is obvs not open. When I/other children I know have had conjunctivitis it has just been sticky and red not swollen - one of his eyes is really swollen to the point where it is half.shut. So I am wondering if its an allergy??
Do I take him the chemist, will they do anything? Or is it a call the out of hours drs jobby? XxxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

I'm not experienced at all yet - but my wonderful mw did say that if ever my LO's eyes were "gammy" - just to squirt some breastmilk in it. I do know you can get 2 types of conjunctivitis though - one an allergy, the other a type of virus (neither serious just irritating - I have had both myself in the past). Personally, I would try the breastmilk thing and if not, just pop along to see the pharmacist.
I will give you another chuckle this morning....I desperately wanted to keep LO on breastmilk as far as I could now that she will take from a shield.....so I left a note for my OH to wake me up so I could feed her around 3am.
However, he decides to leave me asleep (GRR:mad:), and instead feeds her formula.....she then rewards him with a juicy nappy change.....and he forgets to keep the nappy in place whilst cleaning her. So when I got up....he looked absolutely knackered....as not only did he have to change her clothing....he also had to clean the floor and walls....as apparently it went EVERYWHERE!
Was I wrong to smirk at this point???!!!:p0 -
Breastmilk's great for eyes, I agree. But sunshine's little boy was probably weaned ages ago as he's one of our big boys, although I'm happy to pop round and give you a squirt
A pharmacist's opinion is a good starting point, sunshine. They'll tell you if they think you should visit the quack."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Haha...thanks for the offer fluff
He is scoffing his toast atm so once we are dressed I will pop down. To make it worse, he was running about this morning and ran into the changing unit, so now has a swollen eye and a bruise! Looks like he has been scrapping and he is only 1!
Is Freddies bday Sunday fluff? Much planned?
