No I know, I just meant doctors sometimes try to have you believe it's one or the other but it's not, it can just take some fine tuning :o

Argh, I think I've slept 3h all together, I don't know what got into her but she had.the lightest sleep ever and she kept chatting and babbling the whole night. She usually sleeps until 7-8 am , yet here we are since 6am. I thought we were turning a point two days ago when she slept 7:30h in a go, then another 2:30h!!! I bet she won't repeat it now for months! Lol

I bought a week ago a big mat (Tiny Love Super Mat) and she's been playing a lot by herself on it, she's been rotating on her belly and has started to push herself and put her bottom up. I'm chuffed with the purchase.

Cake, I hope you are feeling better. I second what has been said about counseling. If you are to remain together you need to truly forgive and he needs to stop doing stuff like that and earn your trust again. It's not a one off, since he's done it before and it lasted months when he should be excited about his new family. I don't know how you manage. Whatever you decide, big hugs.

martafdz I know how you feel. I could hear her coughing herself awake a few times, I've turned into quite a light sleeper- used to be able to sleep for Britain! I almost fell asleep at the wheel this morning on route to work
I went in a few days ago and found she had somehow got herself out of her sleeping bag and now she's got a little bit of a cold. It's lovely when she's got snot running down her face and she wants to give you a kiss!! :kisses:

Yay for the mat, won't be long and she'll be crawling and then you're in for it! :D

Hey ladies :). Waves from sunny Devon!

Hope everyone's ok, how are you getting on Cake?

We're having a lovely hols so far, went to Plymouth today and took George to the aquarium. The West Country air must be doing something to him - he's slept from bedtime til 7.30 both nights we've been here so far! Amazing! I feel ridiculously refreshed :D

Wow katiechoc, that sounds amazing! Mine had an awful night but then allowed me to have awesome naps. I decided to sleep when she slept today for every nap, I was shattered! She went down from 8am until 10:45 am, and then again from 1:30pm until 3:30 pm, so at least I managed to get some sleep at the end! I hope she has a normal night today, which means feeds at 11:30 pm and 4:30-5am, and sleep until 7-7:30am. I don't know how those of you who wake up at 5-6am manage during the day!

I'm not ready for her crawling yet Lola! Lol She is pushing the floor with her feet and getting the bottom up, I guess she just needs to be a bit stronger to make the final push to move. However, she moves quite a bit by just rotating on her tummy and rolling, although so far she only rolls to the right from back to tummy, and to the left from tummy to back. Like the motion of closing and opening a book.

I put a lullaby on my.phone yesterday and she went mad giggling and smiling at the app background (little bear sleeping) and the sound. It made me think.about buying a lullaby projector thing, or anything with sound and light that she can hold and trash about. Is there anything like that? She wanted to grab the phone and was mesmerized by the sound and the light.

We've had such a good day with lo!! He met his great grandad for the first time and they both couldn't take their eyes off each other! It was so nice, my grandad hasn't been in the best of health and had to go into a care home so I'm so happy he was around to meet my lo.

Then we went to oh parents for a while and lo had so many pics taken of him, he woke up smiling and has just gone back to sleep smiling!

Today has made me realise that the last 3 weeks have not been normal and today was normal. Back at the docs on Wednesday to sort his constipation out, I know once that is sorted ill have back my contented happy baby that I had from birth to 6 weeks! And these last 3 weeks will be a distant memory! Yey!

That is so lovely Mrshaworth2b my LO never got to meet her great grandad, he lived in Hong Kong. All my other grandparents died before she even existed. My auntie told me one of his last awake moments he looked at photos of her, smiled and then he just closed his eyes and never woke up again.
