*waves* I am here reading as always, no idea where time goes but it just seems to run away from me.

I'm back on SW and have lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks so very happy with that :j

My LO is a horror, doesn't listen to a word you say or heed any warnings, I feel like the terrible 2's have hit already :D

Well done on the weight loss! That's a fab amount to lose in 2 weeks!

How are you managing with any bad behaviour? I'm struggling with Poppy at the moment, she's turned into a devil child! She throws temper tantrums when she can't get her own way and has started lashing out at my face and pulling my hair when she gets angry. My mum says its all normal and she's just testing my limits but i'm unsure how to deal with her! Should i say no, or just leave her to tantrum and not give her any attention? Any advice gratefully received! x

Thank you :D SW is the only diet for me, I love it. I'm determined to drop a dress size by the time we go to London. I know I can do it, I just have to stay focused.

R.e bad behaviour I have no clue, I actually have found my self screeching at him, in recent days and I honestly feel it's just making him worse, so today I've gone for the 'No we don't open that drawer and play with the things in there because they're sharp and we could hurt ourselves, come play with your toys please' and then lift him down to play and distract him. It does seem to have worked actually and there were no tantrums today, whereas before I'd start of with 'no don't do that' 'Aaron, no' and then it was 'AARON I SAID NO!!!' and it got me nowhere but him screaming constantly and not listening to a word I've said, so I've started this new way from today and believe it or not there has been no tantrums at all. I do think distraction is the way forward but we do have lashing out and hair pulling here too.

Thanks Gilly, it does make me feel better knowing i'm not alone with the tantrums! We are just looking at buying a book on behaviour for some ideas. Not really enjoying this phase and hoping it passes soon. I try the distraction technique but she throws a paddy, goes stiff and throws herself about! Even my mum said she'd been a nightmare today and she has the patience of a saint!x

Oh no :( it's so hard. I actually spent all of yesterday hiding in the bedroom and leaving my OH to it because I just couldn't face the tantrums. :( Hugs x

    Hi all

Reading the tantrum posts, I sympathise - we are going through something similar here too. Aiden is constantly turning off the virgin box, in the kitchen cupboard, in the bin  pulling off the fire cover - everything he shouldnt do. When we say no, he has started just throwing himself back and rolling on his stomach crying...he did it sunday and banged his head as we werent quick enough to catch him :( I am hoping its just a phase. Annoying thing is, nursery say he never does it there!!!

Well done on your weight loss Gilly. Thats fab. Im still shredding with Jillian! Day 9 tonight so last day on level 1 tomoz :D definately feel fitter and more toned so quite looking forward to seeing what happens with level 2!

Am shattered tonight, must get to bed. Night all xxx

Aw I love reading these stories, my lo learnt to smile 3 weeks ago, it's the best when I put him in bed, say "hello smiley baby" and he grins at me, if I can work out how to do a pic on here ill show you. I'm looking forward to waves and crawling etc :)

:) Similarly, I love reading posts like yours. It reminds me of the first few months and all the 'firsts' that they do, it makes me smile remembering those early things xxxx
