Evening all, I have my first baby free night since he was born tonight  Got some bad news about a family member yesterday and just don't feel in the right frame of mind to be looking after him, I can't be a great parent to him atm so hoping I'll feel better by tomorrow

OH is at work, so I have no clue what to do with myself, it feels very weird!
edit: he is being watched by MIL not just left on the street :rotfl:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Watch Eurovision and drink wine, Gilly! Durr!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

:rotfl:When I read Gilly's post, I thought 'watch Eurovision and eat chocolate', but wine is even better
Gilly, hope you're OK, sending you a big ((hug)).0 -

We're going Ted as shortened. Cos he's just cute enough to suit it.x
Hope you're not missing LO too much Gilly. I didn't like my baby free 2 hrs... Missed him too much!0 -
Ted is adorable
lovely.
I am missing him loads but he'd be in bed now anyway so that helps. I have about a billion things on Ebay finishing tonight so hopefully people pay quickly and I can get those packaged up without 'helping hands'

An easier question would be, what you looking for? I've not listed loads of baby stuff really but I have loads if you're interested. Can add you on facebook or something and send pics if you like
as don't think we're allowed to sell on here x The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

We went on holiday when LO was six weeks old and it was fine. But we were staying somewhere owned by family so could have changed our minds without losing any money. And we were the only ones there - I don't think I would've liked to be staying somewhere with others at that stage even though we had no problems and LO was very easy. I think it's probably unlikely you would be able to swim as you should wait until you have had a full week clear from bleeding. When we went swimming on our holiday, DH took the baby in and then gave her to me and I got her dressed and fed her while he and DD1 spent longer in the pool.Kayalana99 wrote: »Hi guys,
Didn't really want to start my own thread but thought you guys would be best to ask anyway!
My Dad wants to take us all to center pacs (him nd wife, me and OH + our 1 year old, and my sis,oh +DD)
Thing is my baby is due 8th Oct and he wants to go on 11th Novemeber...baby will be 5 weeks old.(depending ofc lol)
Wont even be able to rent bikes out as baby can't go in them and I dont want to be going swimming with the newborn(even if we did we would be stuck to the small baby pool just not something id want to do) so I we basicly go and be sitting round the villa the whole time and even going out for a few hours is going to be a pain as I would think Id be breast feeding...not to mention how the babies going to be or is it just totally not worth it? I feel like im missing out if I dont go but even if we do go it feels like we would be very limited to what we could do....
Am I just over thinking it to much?0
