It doesn't look nice does it.
He has been so upset today I think it's really starting to irritate him now. In the last 6 weeks the poor mite has had tonsillitis, sickness and diarrhea, been in hospital on a drip and now chicken pox.I think his immune system must be crappy at the moment.

Poor Noah! The joy of having big brothers bringing home germs I guess?
Managed to squeeze in the Davina workout today, only managed twice this week, very bad! I don't feel thinner, but I definitely am getting fitter. Still want abs though!0 -

Hey ladies,
Oh was on a day off yesterday and lo woke up in such a good mood, didn't have much of a sleep during the day but was generally happy. Tried him with gripe water for the first time and it seemed to ease his tummy after feeds.
We went to mil for tea and he was napping in his basket, no one was quiet for him and so he started fussing so I picked him up and held him on the sofa. All of sudden he let out this cry that I had never heard before and wouldn't be consoled for about 20mins, it was a really heart breaking cry and one I had never heard before. I had mil and dil both saying it was wind but I'm not sure. In the end put him in he car seat and came to go home, we drove round for a bit and he slept. He had his feed at 8 and has just woke up for a wind but is now back asleep. Wonder what it was? Really upset me though.I've not slept much tonight just worrying over him!

Sammie I have read back for quite a few pages and can't see any mention of it so apologies if you have already tried it. Infant piriton stops the itching with chicken pox very well and makes it a lot more bearable.0

Sorry I have not read your previous posts but does your LO suffer from reflux at all? I am asking as I have two children badly affected by it and they both have this horrible animalistic type of shrieking that they unleash when it is particularly bad. They each have a range of medication that generally keeps it under control, but when they inevitably pick up yet another vomiting virus at nursery we are right back to square one as the medicines do not get time to be absorbed.0 -

Funny you should say this, I've wrote a couple of posts about reflux. Recently my lo has been showing symptoms of reflux, some things he's been doing for a while and I put it down to other things however its all adding up so when at the drs on Friday I told him everything he was doing and was told it prob wasn't reflux and that we always worry with our first, he even said it might be colic, which I know it isn't.
You writing that as a reply tells me I am right, and I'm going to go back to the drs and demand some help because last nights crying had me in tears, I was ready for going to the hospital it was that much of a desperate cry,

When your baby's had a bad night, why does he wake up looking bright as a button and you wake up looking like Donald Trump?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Ha ha fluff! Noah was up every hour throughout the night, I've woken up with a sore throat and I'm losing my voice...... I sound like Deirdre Barlow!
