Glad she's doing better now Nutella
Can't help with the choking on spit thing I'm afraid, the only time George has choked is when the greedy blighter shoved too much of a homemade turkey nugget in his mouth at once. OH had to bash him on the back, he threw it up and promptly ate it again. Nice.
Back from the clinic, he's 9.3kg, although he refused to sit still so that might be a little but out. He was the only walker there and clearly loved the attention, dashing about giggling - and when I stripped him down to his nappy there was no stopping him!
Should probably get on and clean the kitchen while he's asleep. Sigh.Newborn thread member

I suppose I has better go to clinic and get the monkey weighed this week as I haven't been since his his check up at 11 months. He was weighed at hospital and was just below 9kg, he lost alot of weight because of how ill he was.
Back from soft play nowhe nearly drowned in the ball pit and kept trying to throw himself in head first!
he's a plonker.
Just hung some washing out to dry so I'm going to pay some bills and check my bank account  I love being a grown up.:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Do you want to come and do my grown up stuff? That way I can go build a treehouse :j:j
I haven't taken baby to a weighing clinic, ever. No one has shot me (or even phoned) so I wouldn't worry too much ladiesMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Has anyone else really missed being at work? My LO is nearing 4 months, I love him so much but am going out of my mind! Am thinking I may be getting depressed. I go to a couple of baby groups a week but no one there that I have made a friendship with properly. Am also constantly worried I do not make LO happy because sometimes I feel like I am just fake smiling at him all the time. To add to the stress he is not drinking all of his bottles, and is pooing at every feed. I think he is teething but did anyone else expereince this? He has been sick quite a bit the last few days too. On a real downer. Told husband i'm really not happy and he didn't seem to get it. Just moaned about not knowing what mood i would be in each day when he gets in. Am wondering if its our marriage that is the problem, but is is a lovely person so don't know what is going on in my head at the moment. Just craving my old life which I feel so guilty about because I love our son so so much! He just seems to be cryiong so much lately which I worry is my fault, although I give him all my attention and all he needs I hope. he seems to want 3 ozs every 2 hour or two instead of 7 oz every 3 is this teething? sorry im rambeling now! x0

Candlewax its perfectly normal to feel that way
Try having a look at meet a mum on netmums, or maybe ask OH to look after baby for an hour or so just for you to have a swim or a haircut or something?
Teething does send everything a bit loopy... There is no normal where babies are concerned. You have more or less described a growth spurt though! Just means he'll have a hungry couple of weeks and then none of his clothes will fitNothing you wrote jumps out at me as worrying and I've had 5

Delain - ha ha a treehouse! Do kids still build treehouses? Growing up in the 80's/90's was so much fun, we used to build treehouses, play outside the front, camp in the back garden etc. I remember coming home from school and watching Bluepeter and newsround before home and away and neighbours came on. Those were the days.:)DS1 10yrs

mrsA - yes, we have a spit choker here too but not at night. TBH he sleeps very well at night though. I think it's to do with increased drool when the teething begins. (Not to suggest you're due teeth any moment, still none here but there are two buds which have been there at least a month now!).
Nutella glad all is OK that must have been terrifying!
Hugs to the others in need esp candlewax..
On the nap/sleep front from a few pages back we've never needed to do any sleep training, 90% of the time if he's tired he falls alseep on his own. Lately he is being more clingy though and if he wakes up without me in the room starts crying. Also there are now three people he's taken exception to (looks at them and sticks out his bottom lip and starts crying...). I think we need to get him used to more people. He's normally cheerful and smiles a lot at strangers, so don't know what this latest thing is.0 -

Mines the exact same - once I get him to nap durin the day I will go and clean his bottles or put washing on etc and if he wakes without me there he will cry, so I try and keep bobbing back in and whispering to him, just so he thinks I've never left. Also mil picked him up last night and he cried even harder, until I took him off her and then he was fine again! He'll have to get over that because his mil is looking after lo when I go back to work! Eek!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0
