    Evening all :)

Katie, hope George is feeling better and is sound asleep.

Came home from work/nursery this evening to find that our neighbours had taken delivery of our new stroller! LO and I unpacked it, had a bit of a play with the packaging and then did a few test rounds with it in the living room and hallway. Love it already and she seems happy in it :T It also feels like our hallway has grown as it takes up much less space than the old buggy. Going to try it outdoors tomorrow :D The ladybird backpack also arrived, but we're saving it for her birthday so haven't unwrapped it (couldn't possibly deprive her of a nice bit of packaging!), but it looks great and seems really good quality.

She just woke up screaming uncontrollably - I think she must have dreamt something :( Back asleep now after cuddles, water and a spot of singing - here's hoping it lasts...

Off to bed - sending sleepdust to all the little people x

Dp. Funny, now I see that IKEA bed, that's the one my cousin wants for her son (now 1) so she can sleep with him if he's not feeling well. Apparently had good reviews too.

Savage it's probs a good thing that I'm not on the other fb group. Gilly's one is just full of posts from me. I don't post here much because I use my phone and it's not easy to catch up.

Fluff you could always get fb and not tell any real people and just keep it for us :)

Dewi has a little play gym. It only has 3 danglies. He only likes one though. He grabs it and tried to eat it.

    Morning all :)

Another good night here - she slept until 5.30 with only one dummy request at 2-something! :T

Just had a shower whilst LO was playing in the bathroom. By the end of it I had the company of my eye cream, one pebble, one dummy and one very wet sock :rotfl:Some things were easier in the days when she was happy to stay in her cot with the mobile on!

What's everyone got planned for today? We're meeting a friend for lunch, and then I need to do some cleaning. The washing machine is already on :o The weather's not looking too promising though - I hope it clears up as I want to do some pottering by the river with my new stroller!

Have a good day all x

    Morning ladies.

What stroller did you get in the end Nutella?

George is much better, thanks to all who asked :). He perked up and had some dry toast for tea and slept through til 6.20 (with a 5.20 brief wake up). Has demolished more toast and a very small bowl of porridge. Hopefully that's the end of it. We're having to miss a birthday party today though, don't want to risk spreading it around.

What is everyone else up to today?

    Glad George is better katie.

Not a bad night here. Woke at 5 for dummy and up at 645 which is standard here.

Mortgage appt at 11 here. Going to the park at 9 for an hour in the very faint hope he will sleep through the appt....hahaha!!

We're waiting to see what time daddy wakes up. It's a really nice day here. He wantshis hair cut at some point. I do hate the weekends though. As nice as it is to have him around... we never do anything fun! What family things do you do with a littlie?
  • Morning all.

Glad George is feeling better Katie and you had a good night nutella.
Shay went down at 8pm (we've been working on an earlier bedtime!) However she woke up at 11:30, 1:15, 3:00 and we've been up since 5 so I'm shattered, the only way to settle her again during the night is boob so we can't even share the wake ups sadly :o its been pretty similar all week so I've downloaded the book cake mentioned as willing to try anything to improve our sleep again lol.

I'm being a misery and hoping it starts raining hard soon as my oh has a cricket game today and I don't want him to play so we can all spend the day together lol, he's not impressed with my curtain twitching nor my disappointment that it hadn't rained over night :p if it doesn't rain then I might head into that their London town and see a few friends I haven't seen for far too long and pop into my parents as I think its my little brothers first court issued saturday with my nephew so would be lovely to see him as its been ages with the games his mum has been playing since she split with my brother.

Anyone reccomend a good ceral? As in proper cereal. Aiden loves the ellas round ones but I worry he may get a bit bored of them every thursday, friday, sat and sun - he has brekkie at nursery monday-wednesday.

He isnt too keen on porridge anymore and likes to feed himself so cereal is less messy than porridge lol.

Any healthy reccomendations? Baby aisle only seems to do ellas and the rest is all porridge based.

Sunshine, they do messy play with corn flakes and rice crispies at my LO's nursery, which means it must be fine to give those to babies as a fair bit gets eaten along the way! My LO likes Cow & Gate's 'my first muesli', but it does end up a bit porridge-like in consistency, so maybe not ideal for you. She also likes the Sainsbury's own brand version of Special K with red berries (it's called Balance with red fruit) - it does have added salt and sugar, but not a lot, and it's been fortified with vitamins and iron so it's not that bad... :)

Good luck with Aiden sleeping through your mortgage appointment!
