  • Freddie's just the opposite. Been rolling for months and months but only just started to move forwards (slithers on his tum). He's 16 next birthday. Only joking. He's 9 months. They're all different aren't they.

That they are! 4 friends had babies within a month of Shay being born and all have bigged up the rolling achievement on facebook the last this morning and I just felt like I missed out on a milestone lol

That's why fluff doesn't do the face.

    Evening ladies,

Health visitor phoned me today, she saw Noah last week as she wanted to follow up to see how his speech was coming on. She wants to refer him to the paediatrician as he still doesn't make any noise apart from crying/giggling. I'm sure he's fine, probably just lazy but obviously better to get it checked out. Also means a day out for us!

No point being in the facebook groups, ladies! You won't get no Freddie-fun on there! fluffnutter doesn't do the face.

I don't do the face either, too many drama llamas in my family :o

Nice to see you back :)

I did read back but everything has disappeared from my brain.

Has been manic here so haven't been able to get on much!

Hugs to anyone who needs them and yay to rolling :D:D

I'd say he is still quite young! Suppose better to get checked out. Especially with 2 older brothers to talk for him :o

Thanks Gilly, I thought the same but apparently he should be saying either mamma, Babba, dadda. I can't get him to wave, clap etc so I think he is just super lazy! I don't think I should be too worried.

  • Evening all,
I've been a lurker for a while... Did post ages ago, but not properly joined the thread... So can I now? I had Oliver 3rd February 2013 so he 's just approaching 12 weeks, and it's been a bloody hard 12 weeks, a complete shock to the system! I can honestly say being a parent is the hardest thing I've ever done. I won't go on too much now-I may never stop!!

Savage-we used to have the ikea hemnes day bed. It's a single bed that converts to a double but also has lots if storage. It used to be our spare bed and was actually very comfy (we slept in it for 3 months whilst bedroom was being decorated).

Who was it who mentioned the dark tower books? Anyway on the strength of that I'm giving them a go!

I've just finished the gunslinger :)

The one book I really loved by Stephen King was IT :o strange though that sounds! (it wasn't the scary stuff either that I liked about it) Didn't enjoy the film though.

Or maybe a sofa bed, savage? I saw in Argos that you can have them double and even king if I'm not mistaken. I'm considering one for her bedroom, just so I can stay there when she's poorly once we move the cot. Oh, thanks for the heads up with regard to the Facebook list, I had not seen it!
