Thanks for taking the time out for your reply BWP, it is helpful to see things from the other side so to speak. We're not close never have been - there's 6 years between us so he was close with my eldest brother ( 22 month gap) and I'm close with my lil bro (14 month gap) and after a massive fall out with his wife aside from pleasantries when we both happened to be at the same place we have had nothing to do with each other until my mum told him I was pregnant with a little girl - I never told him, never saw him and never felt the need to tbh but mum being mum and probably rightly thought he should know I was going to be a mum! I didn't even think of the link in dates, harsh but after almost 10 years I knew it'd happened near Christmas but wouldn't have been able to be any more specific.
I think I need to leave it for a few days as i've managed to screech 'but she's my bloody baby, nothing to do with him' enough today at my mum with her insistence that I have to put my feelings aside and see where he's coming from over and over again as he's phoned her very upset apparently as I've been ignoring him and he asked when I was next there which of course meant she told him I didn't want him to be there at the same time so will defo need to calm down and think of a more tactful way to say back off lol.
My dad is coming over tomorrow to help my bf with something so will see what he suggests but suspect it'll be an ever so tactful 'tell him to f**k off and just ignore your mum, I'll deal with her whinging later' gotta love him.0 -
Delain, glad you brought up the subject of hair. Mine has gotten so thin at the front I look like I have really receded
I do have very fine short hairs re-growing at the front thankfully so its not too bad but from a few feet away you cant see the re-growth and I look like Im going bald
Every morning my pillow is covered
My brother was rather over-ambitious thinking he would manage outfit changes and photos. He never managed even 1 outfit :rotfl:. I only sent them with a pretty dress each and some gorgeous leggings and t-shirt thinking he may manage one of them. Nope. Then I got a text later on saying how on earth do you manage, Im shattered :rotfl:. Haha. When we went to pick the girls up he said all they have done all day is stay in the living room but Im exhausted
I was supposed to be baking while they were out. I decided early on that I would buy my Uncle a cake insteadI spent the 5 hours they were out doing housework instead and it still doesn't look as if I have actually done anything
Major shock earlier...... I had steamed the girls some carrots, broccoli and sweet potato and used the stick blender to puree it up a bit. There were still some strands of broccoli stalk that were quite hard so was sifting through it while putting it in tubs to freeze. I found a bit of plastic in it . Couldn't believe it. I feel ill even thinking about it. Checked the steamer and there is a tiny bit of plastic lip at the base of each compartment. And where there should be 4 lips there was only 1. Its a fairly old steamer but cant believe that has happened:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

We are viewing one tomorow, but I am not too keen tbh....its lovely but would need extending, which it does have potential for as the garden is huge but I would rather have one which is already bigger if you see what I mean...but I need to stop aiming so high I think.
My hair isnt falling out anymore, but goes greasy ever so quick now. I will wash it in the morning and afew hours later it is oily at the roots again
I got some new glasses this month, £210  for two pairs though. Couldnt put it off anymore as I am on the comp all day for work and thats what I need them for.
The boy is still sound asleep....

Oh no...at least you found it, so no harm done hey. I just had an argos value range steamer, was really good tbh and quite cheap.
Lol at your bro!! I would be exhausted with two as well!!

Vosene shampoo is amazing for shiny grease free hair. Stinks though according to OH but I love it (I also like petrol, fire, olbas oil, coal tar soap and creosote so can't be trusted!) don't put Vosene on coloured hair though, its like paintstripper :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Oh I have coloured hair too
I'm using tresemme at the moment as I thought that might work, but no it doesn't. If I don't wash it every night the roots look really oily. I use a dry shampoo which helps for a few hours but that's about it.
Cake - :rotfl: at you brother, how lovely for him to have them though he sounds like he will be a fab uncle.:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Delain - I've just looked on the vosene website, they have a colour protect shampoo and conditioner. Do you think that would work?:)DS1 10yrs
