So... the letter the HV sent saying she was coming hasn't arrived - and won't arrive now till after the time the midwife THINKS she's coming. This being the HV who left me a voicemail to call her - but forgot to leave the phone number to call her on.

Gotta love efficiency. Time to get hounded about the stuff I've been putting off - like Erin's 9 month check - bah!

Hope the mmr isn't too bad sammie :(. How old are they when they do that one? A bit over a year? I'm not looking forward to the next set, the first ones didn't bother me too much but now he's my little buddy (rather than the little bundle of hunger/poop/crying that he was when he was newborn) it seems worse when he's hurt.

We had to put baby into her big bed last week (after she climbed out of the cot and fell with a bang ) and It's been an eventful week nap wise... This morning she decided she wasn't tired and squeezed under the bed and got stuck, there was all this grumbling and just a pair of little legs sticking out :rotfl:

It's the Winnie the pooh cotbed she's got so its really low... She must have done a good commando to get under there

Hope there's no more sick Sammie :hello: nothing worse than children with tummy bugs. Especially not when there's more than one! Last time one hit my house I ended up cleaning nearly every carpet _pale_ and I forgot to add, good luck with the mmr

Oh no it's TOMORROW HV wants to come... like if she thinks I'm staying in on Erin's birthday keeping the house presentable for her she can get stuffed... will brave baby clinic instead and hope she's down there (need to go get a doc appointment in the same building booked anyway).

Oh nice dizzi. I haven't been to any baby clinics with my younger 2 :o

Katie: She was a bit shaken and upset and had a bruise on her head but nothing too serious. We had to rearrange her mmr though, wasn't going to take her after that, because a) I felt bad for her already and b) I didnt want an SS referral because my baby had a bump, especially as we took the cot down and turned it into a bed straight away once she'd done it.

I had one once for my 2.5yo when she was 14 months and had a bump on her head from falling too close to the coffee table :( and it was a worker at the girls school who made the referral! Nothing to do with my toddler at all  I was really hopping that day.

In fact the next day she (the toddler, sadly not the school woman) launched herself off her seat on the bus so I took her into the office and said to the woman that she fell off her seat and since it had been a whole 24 hours since the last time she might like to tell social services again! That put her on the spot :o

Left work early to go and pick up LO - they called from the nursery to say she's got a temperature and gooey eyes :(

How much did your baby weight at 10 weeks ? My baby refuses the bottle, so she is BF and now and then has a 50ml little drink some weeks, She weights 10lbs 2 oz and seems a bit slim, 58 cm she is.

My BIL just got me Justin Timberlake new album as a anniversary present * i asked him for that :)
