From what I've read online you make the bottles up and then cool them quickly, put them in the fridge and then warm them in the bottle warmer. :)

Hi all, not posted in ages, hope everyone is okay.

I have a poorly little man at the mo. He has come down with a terrible cold and it's really affecting him. He's off his food and his sleeping has completely gone to pot. I feel like I have a newborn again with all the getting up in the night - I'm not used to it!

Anyway, I came on to ask a question. We have just booked a caravan holiday for June (yay!) and we have the option of either hiring a travel cot (we don't have one) or they do "cot sides" which are apparently three sides of a cot which fit onto a single bed, with the wall making the fourth side. I've never heard of this before and don't know which is the best option to go for. Does anyone have any experience of using these cot sides?

This is exactly why I'm still washing new clothes at almost 11 months. But when, the other day, I washed a duvet cover and some dresses bought online from Mothercare I was starting to think that I was being a bit OCD - they were wrapped in plastic and had clearly never been anywhere near a shopfloor or another customer... :o I think I'll stop washing stuff bought online, but continue doing it with shop-bought stuff. We've never bought anything second hand for her :o

I prewash new stuff as I've heard they're treated with chemicals to make them look good. I quite often prewash secondhand stuff too if I'm not sure of the washing powder used.

Hello all, well we are back from our first 2 nights away from LO and apparently he had a great time! Lots of long walks, playing with the dogs and nanny cuddles!

Oh and apparently he slept 11-7 both nights. He has never done this for us!!! Tonight will be interesting!!

On a good note however I finally got my engagement ring so it now feels all official :)

Thanks for the offer turtle. The only thing is whether we could fit it in the car as we already have to take the pushchair (which takes up most of the boot), highchair and luggage for the three of us. Not sure how we are going to fit it all in yet and I was thinking if we hire the cot from the caravan site it would be one less thing to take. Thanks though :)

Now that baby's in a big boy car seat he needs to go in the trolley at the supermarket... I'm thinking of starting a montage...

Love the pics Fluff! Keep an eye on him though - first time I put G in the big trolley seat he was swiping things off the shelves left, right and centre!

Ahh happy Freddie as always! Gorgeous.

Noah likes to swipe things too, he spotted a Mickey Mouse teddy in sainsburys and knocked the whole box off the shelf.

Little man has his MMR today. :(
