Well done on the temp job Buffy! You have to keep moving in small tranches - you're ok until Christmas then the next step will be to find something until Easter or summer and so on. Glad to see things are moving forward. I'm in the same boat as you with why does everything take time. Everything comes to he who waits - as they say.
Wol - well done finally getting your money back - let's hope they pay up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Thank you Wol and Sun Addict.
I feel very weird. back to missing the ex. but that is ok. he meant a lot so it is only right.
I have made the decision to rehome the guinea pigs. I do this thing in my life, I need to try every possible way to make some thing work - my job, living with my lovely mum, keeping the animals,(funnily enough I don't always do it with relationships).I can be ridiculously stubborn.
Any how back to the point, I have tried every variation of cage arrangements and ideas for managing them and none of them worked. I barely have the time to see them - esp when working late. I don't have the room for them. It is too much.
My life has changed, SO much - although I doubt it seems like it to you guys - still here in debt! When I got the guinea pigs I was getting a mortgage and house, I was staying my job to do that.
The job got awful (you may have noticed!) and I have made the decision to stop doing this to myself. To stop it all, running around constantly going no where. I know that part of the reason I lost the man was time and an inflexible schedule. I know the right guy wouldn't have minded but my life is a bit mental even for me!
I won't get a mortgage anytime soon and need to keep the pressure off of myself re this, The guinea pigs deserve more than I can give them and I actually think after all that has happened I need a break, someone said it here, Pooky I think, about needing time out from it all.
tough decision.
but it has been made now.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Glad decision is made.

Today has been hard. Change is very difficult! I am SERIOUSLY missing the ex, he has told me he still cares. I could cheerfully thump him I am so angry with how he has handled things.
IDIOT IDIOT IDIOT !!!!ING IDIOT
Time needs to go by so I can be over this. today was tough. I need to move on. have been on 3 dates - one 1/2 decent guy. Just got to keep busy and not do what I did today which was sit around depressing wishing I could speak to him.
SO I need a plan.
I have 33 days till the end of my current job.
In that I have 1 pay day.
I am now employed till Christmas but am getting around [STRIKE]300 [/STRIKE] 400 pounds less.
I am debating what to do as now I would like to pay the loan OFF at the end of this month. This would mean I could save on interest and then focus on the CC for the end of the year.
Aims for the next 33 days.
1. Go on at 3 dates.
2. Go out once a week even when (like today) I don't feel like it.
3. Do not log on to the date site more than once a day
4. Go to the bank and close the accounts I don't need
5. Gather up all the spare cash and put it on the loan.
6. pay mum back the money for family presents.
7. hopefully re home the guinea pigs which makes me want to sob.
I know change is good, I know leaving my job is right but I do feel empty without the man, WE had so many plans I just cannot understand it at all. I really cant.
There are more aims. but am upset again !!!!!!.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Awww Hun - I know just how tough this is for you Buffy having pigs of my own...it's really important for you to feel comfortable in yourself that you have explored all possibilities before making a decision.....and i know that you have done this
You are a lovely lady who has your pets best interests at heart.....doesn;t make the decision any easier or palatable for you though
Let me know if i can be of any help

think it's time to put yourself at no1 for a while instead of putting everyone else 1st..you need to take time to think what way you want life to pan out for you and then take steps to get where you want to be..you have so much going on at the moment it must be so hard to see a clear path ahead xx0

Paid 100 pounds off the CC bill - inspiring by the determination and outright bravery of Sun Addict.
Aims for the next 33 days. continued
1. Go on at 3 dates.
seem to have tripled booked myself Thursday. oops!
2. Go out once a week even when (like today) I don't feel like it.
I am going out early today and dropping off presents etc rather than being social. But I am going out.
3. Do not log on to the date site more than once a day
Tricky! perhaps I will log into it when I have a message!!
4. Go to the bank and close the accounts I don't need
5. Gather up all the spare cash and put it on the loan.
6. pay mum back the money for family presents.
(might make 5 difficult)
7. hopefully re home the guinea pigs which makes me want to sob.
8. sort out school resources and decide what to keep.
9. visit new job.
10. pay 100 pounds off the CC (just because If I can I would like to start July 4000 pounds in debt)
11. write research proposal for masters.
12. clear desk so I can work on it.

Hi Buffy
What a long list of things to do. Have you actually got time for all these dates? Do you think you need a bit of time off from dating while you get yourself sorted out? A bit of you time. Just a thought.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
