I have heard good things about St Johns Wort. Omega oils (omega 3, 6 and 9) are said to be good for balancing the mood - found in flax seed oil for example. Simple things are often really effective.

A wise man (well not that wise as it turned out when he hit on me at a super vulnerable time, but wise enough) told me to work out what helps me feel better/ worse and then just do more of the one and less of the other. Obvious but it works.

Going to bed at 1 am cant be helping your mood if you are getting up early.xxx
  • I love London. It is on the TV a lot cos of Margaret Thatcher's funeral. Hope that goes off without issue. I find it strange there is such a reaction to her death - some people really hated her. Really what's the point? I can't think of a politician who hasn't done !!!!!! stupid make the rich richer and the poor poorer decisions. They all do a mixture of good and bad. well hopefully. Mind you I do wonder - Tony Blair, he makes me angry but then I guess I feel he betrayed the Labour party? and the war. But I also think this isn't the place for that conversation!!!

and really it is just nice to see London on the TV! St Pauls- one of my favourite places.

Back to money saving and decluttering (decluttering is now an obsession)

I started to clean out a cupboard- one of those high shelfy affairs that you never look in.

Found my old Jewellery box. I buy the odd piece from friends who make jewellery now but I havent bought anything for a while in terms of silver or necklaces. I have 23 necklaces mostly crosses, butterflies and some hearts. I never wear them and I doubt they are worth anything. I have hung them up. Funny, seeing them all together so clear they were bought by the same person. I do wonder what happened to her.

I am playing a game with myself. If I moved out what would I take with me.............Not a lot! going to finally donate books to charity, the traditional Ben Elton - I like it but I will never read it again! and Dan.....Brown of course!!

  • The One Show is really weird, I do enjoy it, but honestly it changes topic from North Korea, bread and fertility!

Must get back to decluttering. I am trying to think of it as fun....

It isn't and it is getting very late.

    xx

i think you should try to wear a different necklace a day, appropriate to how you are feeling.

    I should do.
    They all need cleaning.

I also found the Crucfix my Nan bought my Mum and she gave to me. I used to wear that all the time.

I never wear the others. still they look nice hung up!!

  • Crikey Moses I have a lot of crap!

    It is so bad!

I can't decide what to do. Do I just give it all to charity or do I try and sell some of it.

Music magpie would take the games and old cds. Green Met would have the books. I wouldn't make huge amounts but I have a boot full of stuff for the charity shop already. although i would have to keep them till they sold.

When I was clearing the cupboard I did feel like I was making progress. A complete overhaul of everything in my room is taking time. Mum doesn't really understand. She is upset that the house is a mess and that I am constantly doing this. It has been bad to be honest. And I am away a lot for the next few weeks. I am dreading work.

    oh what a mess!
