It's a bit late to say "good morning" but it was when I first thought about adding a post to the daily icon7.gif - Does that count? :rotfl:

Welcome back Scuzz, it's great to hear you so happy. And Bon Voyage Catznine.

Hi Cazzeibo icon7.gif and anyone else I've not "met" yet :D

Loved the explanation of the Egg banjo Pen Pen, nice one.

Hugs to all who have had rotten days since I last posted.

I've had a lovely, lazy pottering about sort of Sunday, felt so tired today I had no choice :o Had a quick whizz with the microfibre and vac and that was it.

WM has been on constantly since it was fixed and I'm finally catching up.

Groatie Queen, thank you for your kind comments, I might just give that a try!

Today I was outside in my chair, half asleep, with the little box I keep bits of bread in beside me on a little table. After a bit I caught movement out of the corner of my eye, a blackbird was on the edge of the table eyeing up the bread. Then, with me just inches from it, it gave a quick flick of it's wings, up onto the edge of the box and helped itself, magic!

Time I got some sleep, gardening day tomorrow, sleep well everyone. icon7.gif
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

:rotfl: yep, sorry, my geographys pants :o I said to my Dad how far is it from you and he said too far :rotfl: **takes hint about lack of geography knowledge**

SC lamb went well, apart from I went to slice it and it was so tender it dropped to bits, then DP had the cheeky to moan about the gravy, just because it wasn't the Bisto crap he grew up with and was proper gravy! Argh! Anyway, he was promptly told to shhhh and DS definately had his share.
One day I might be more organised...........

I used to be rubbish at places, but when I worked for a parcel company for nearly 10yrs, I got to roughly know where places were. I still have to think though at times.

    Good evening.

Just about made it on Sunday - oh well, have fitted a lot in today although I still need a week off to finish. Carboot with DS, more GCSE coursework marking (why did I let them write so much?), cleaned out guinea pigs, made
14 hanging baskets (12 I sell for charity), helped DS make a solar panel.

dannahaz- Was the game pie good? I've got a pheasant in the freezer which I saw knocked down outside our house. I'm still deciding what to make with it. Pie sounds good

samsam... - I've copied the banana flapjack recipe as I bought three bunches of bananas at the market yesterday for £1 so I'll need to be using some up by the end of the week, thank you, but I'll blame you if it stops my run of healthy eating. I've lost another 1lb and have been really good today.

Our heating and hotwater are broken again. The boiler has only been in for less than two weeks and this is the third breakdown. Still we haven't even paid for it yet - and wont till were happy.

Made fruit yogurt (collecting YEO labels for free trees) using fruit from the freezer - rapberries and blackberres. DS said it was sweet enough without more sugar but I hadn't put any in at all. Good habit to get him into. I had rhubarb cooked with an orange peel which is supposed to stop the need for sugar but it was only just edible - will use remainder for a pie tomorrow.

Reminder to learn how to make yogurt - I've never had much luck so far.

    Good night all

    Night all,

Nearly got on this morning but then I had to run and rescue bread from oven so never got back!

Hugs to all in need and congratulations to all with good news to celebrate

Brought hm garlic bread, ordinary hm bread, salad and stewed rhubarb to DBs...he had other fruit for dessert with ice cream so it was nice and light...was surprised at how well the rhubarb went down, but glad to see it. We went at 2 and I expected to be home by 6ish, but we only got back 30 minutes ago...luckily he only lives 5 minutes away so no worrying about driving after drinking, although I had very little as much as I love wine it seems to give me heartburn so not worth it most of the time...am sure the various nice cheeses we had didn't help either.

I plan on falling into bed soon and sleeping until I have to get up...always things to do, people to meet, places to go!

Evening all. Well tonight I chose to do my online course and as it has forums I spent about 2-3 hours posting tonnes of replies! I think being on here has influenced me, just a little bit, about the amount of posts I make :rotfl:

Mmm, everyone has talked about such yummy food tonight, meanmarie, looby-loo and pooky - I feel hungry now and it's almost midnight!

Right, I'd better shoot off to [STRIKE]bed[/STRIKE] inflatable mattress - yep 6 weeks in and I STILL don't have a bed!! (well, I'll give myself 20 mins of MSE browsing....honest).

Mmm, I wonder why I find it so hard to get up in the mornings when I go to bed so early?

    Night all. MPxx
