    Hi compulsivespender79,

    Check out the first post on this thread, there's loads of tips and support on there plus the name of Neil Casey's book, can't remember off hand. Also check out the link to Max Kirsten's video, not whilst you're eating your lunch though!

    Hi Lurkio, how you doing? :)

    Hi to all the newbies and oldies alike, I'll try and pop on later when I get home and catch up!!

    xx

    OMG I just watched the Max Kirsten video and it is horrible - really scares you so much you feel like having a ciggie to get over the shock!:eek:
    Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:

    OK, here goes;

    Today I bought Allen Carrs book. Went to see the nurse and the doctor today, and although I have no health problems, I'm sick of being shouted at for smoking!!! AND what better way to save £100 a month?!?!
    What I want to know is; has anyone read 'Easy Way to Stop Smoking'? And if so, did it work for you.
    It's a bit of a weird one for me at the moment.. I haven't had a Damascus moment, or decided that I'm going to stop smoking now, right away, this minute. I think I'm just easing myself into it gently (maybe it will be less of a shock to the system this way).
    Well, wish me luck on my half-assed attempt at quitting!!!

    Hello there - I bought the book a few years ago but just shoved it in a drawer!! However, as I stopped smoking on 27/12/07 people on here thought I should actually read it as it would benefit me, and so I have been - I'm about halfway through now. Can't say it is really convincing me that stopping is easy, but hopefully that comes at the end. To be perfectly honest I am finding it a bit boring and I am not experiencing any great revelations :confused: Mr. Carr seems to imply that because I have stopped cold turkey using willpower alone I will fail!

    It's called 'The Nicotine Trick' and IMO it's the business!!!!!

    Thanks again, Lurkio. I've just read all of the reviews for it on Amazon, and it appears to work miracles! Be assured that that book will be dropping through my letter box very soon! :j
