  • Afternoon all,

Just wanted to say hi to the newbies, and 'ello to the regulars.
I'm now on day 19 and going strong.

I've been in an all day meeting today, and it was nice not to have to keep looking at my watch and wondering when I was going to have chance for a crafty fag!

Hope everyone else is doing well, and feeling strong.

    BB

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
  • ok enough lurking i shall stop smoking tomorrow, have 1 left for tonight and thats it:eek:
god knows i need the cash
  • Been lurking for a few days and gaining inspiration from you all. Tomorrow is my quit day - goodbye fags. Am trying to take it a day at a time as otherwise it feels a bit overwhelming. So my motto for tomorrow is "just get through today".

Can I suggest one thing at a time BE? You put a lot of pressure on yourself trying to lose weight and quit at the same time - especially as nicotine cravings are vaguely similar to hunger, and most people put on a few pounds when they stop.

Fags first, then the spare tyre? ;)
