JoeHel, I know what you are trying to say about NRT products and despite giving it a go which didn't work for you, you were able somehow to do it cold turkey - I think that is wonderful I really do and I congratulate you.
. I know that they contain the drug and it would be wonderful if I could go cold turkey and everything would be just great but I can't.
I know you mean well (PLEASE don't take this the wrong way) when you keep saying go cold turkey you will see the benefits and you will be drug free etc but it makes me feel on edge. I know that when wheening off patches it may be difficult but the habit will have been broken and you can't say that a person going cold turkey has a better chance of staying smoke free for life more than someone who has used patches.0 -

Tobruk - as I said in an earlier post, whatever works. Use the method that you are most comfortable with. We may evangelise about cold turkey but that is because that is what worked for JoeHel and me. If that isn't for you, then don't worry. We don't judge with methods on this thread. We support, encourage and hopefully help
Don't be discouraged from trying. Ever:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
