THat's brilliant! I still remember how hard the first couple of days were.

I don't know if anyone else found this, but I didn't tell anyone in the office for about 2 months - it made the pressure much less. Last time, I felt like everyone was waiting for me to fail.

Big Ears: When you quit for good, you'll stay quit. I don't believe it's 18 months. I've been quit for only 4 months and I know I won't smoke again. I'm not going to pretend it won't be hard and I still fancy one from time to time, but it's definitely going away.

This weeks going to be harder though........ going on holiday abroad for the first time tomorrow (I must be nuts - come back from being in France for 6 weeks - I actually wouldn't mind being at home!)

Newsgroup, sorry, she said it takes 18 goes not 18 months - so to all the people who keep trying and failing (like me - til this time) I was saying - keep trying! Cos some people get the idea that they just can't when in fact, like you say, one time you'll try and it will just happen.
Please please please let this time be THE time!

TNG, Adz, IDA, Tobruk, Costa, Jo et al, missing you all loads! I did manage to log on here earlier today at work but in true council stylee the connection was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWWW and so I gave up. Apparently they're gonna be doing summat about that soon which is a relief afterall I do have ebay to do and I do like to snipe bid in the last 5 seconds :rotfl:
