    (Glad noone noticed my disapperance the last few days)

    Who are you? :rotfl::rotfl:

    It's a fairly fluid thread, Adz. We don't need to keep track because people come and go as they like.... except sad people like me :D

    Tobruk - The only smoking allowed in this house is our 'sort of utility room' which is nothing more than a shed tacked on to the back of the house.

    I do exactly the same ! There is no joy in a couple of puffs, one ear listenening for the end of the adverts, freezing yourself, allowing cold air to creep through the house while the back door is open.
    What do we look like ?

    Ha ha ha! Yes exactly, when you picture it it's a very sad desparate sight! :rotfl: I am just trying to make it as unpleasurable as possible. I could easily say to myself it's my house, I live alone and I can enjoy a smoke anywhere, but I won't do that now.;)

    Adzha I have noticed your absense, how are things on the smoke free front?

    TNG - glad you have faith that I maycrack it soon!!

    Frugaljo, just watched that clip on youtube from your link - very interesting. He certainly doesn't think much of patches! I'm afraid that I am going to go down the patches route - when I gave up beginning August with patches it seemed very easy for the first couple of weeks (I was staying with family) and it only became hard when I returned home to an empty house and no one around! However, with placing a patch on (although you are receiving a dose of nicotine without the smoking) you are prohibited to smoke with that patch on and so you can't smoke!

    It may be psycological but if it works .... well I'll have to see;)

    With the saving money factor, as I roll up it means that buying a weeks worth of patches cost as much or more than I spend on tobacco a week, and I suppose I have been using that as a sort of excuse. However, I have been buying the patches now ready for the big day and have 5 weeks worth already - it seems you need 6 weeks on step 1, 2 weeks of step 2 and 2 of step 3. Do you think I'm mad?:rolleyes:

    No idea :D I saw the cheap price and bid (I'm bad at not reading descriptions)
    But I'm not paying, and hopefully the seller will be caught out.
