Right mum you have NOT FAILED. You've had a very minor blip, you hated it so climb back aboard!! It doesn't cancel your quit - turn it round to make your quit even more positive - YOU HATED THE TASTE!! YOU LIKE BEING A NON SMOKER!! Don't let a minor set back beat you!! YOU KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!! Hope this has sounded inspiring???
love and hugs

I failed today.

I feel that I have let myself down, 3 weeks and 1 day of hard work down the drain and for what?
I don't feel any better for it. I hated the taste and it was not how I thought it would be in the slightest.
What did I do that for?
I just don't think I can do it but I really want to.
Don't know what else to say.
I'm with IDA, mum. You haven't failed. All that hard work is not for nothing. You CAN do it. Really, you can:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -

Mum, I'm with IDA and TNG, it was nothing just a blip, one that you didn't enjoy and one that you're now beating yourself up about now. If you really wanted to start smoking again you wouldn't be so upset that you lit up. Forget it, use it to enforce the fact that you no longer want to be a smoker.
We've all done it, me many many times!
Morning all by the way
TNG, you sure? :rolleyes:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Hiya everyone! Just dropped in to say hi, this is my first day as a non-smoker and I'm feeling really positive. Put a patch on this morning and had a few puffs of the plastic thing when I fancied a cig. No, I haven't even actually fancied one, it's just at the times I would normally have one out of habit. Anyway, that's it for now, off to tackle my ironing mountain for a bit:pSmokefree since 27-9-20070

Great news laura. If you get an 'urge', take a few really deep, controlled breaths. It helpsAnyway, that's it for now, off to tackle my ironing mountain for a bit
If it takes your mind off it, you could do mine, too:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
Not liking this ironing thing, the pile's hardly shrinking and the washing machine's whizzing round with more! Still no fags though, yay me!Smokefree since 27-9-20070
