Another £1.65 spend on a bottle of pop for tomorrow's treat night for DD, and pizza for her tea tonight. Forgot to take mozzarella out of freezer for tea ! Thought she was having Tuna and pasta and had prepared that, but she had had Tuna in PL so my fault!!! This was meant to be tomorrow's tea whioch it will still be. Also, spent 40p on a drink as we went straight from school ( need to add that to sig, as forgot)
Hoping for NSD Sat/Sun as i don't want to go out in the snow again
DD has had an early tea, and i am just waiting for Caribbean Pepperpot stew to warm and added beef to cook in slow cooker.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Have just gone over budget:eek: I had planned on a very small top up to see us through until the end of the month but then Aldi did their voucher a week early:mad: Consequently, a big shop was done this week with a total spend after vouchers of £36.20.
This has sent me over budget but I have filled the freezer and re-stocked enough pasta, rice, juice etc for most of next month.
Hope everyone else is doing better:o

Coxy you are not a saddo - I do that too :TI looked at tea towels in The Ran.. and Mr T the other day.
The ones I have just bought in Al.. are much nicer and better quality for a lower price. :j Go Al..

Afternoon all
Just a quick update on the spends, I'm now on week 4 of 4 and with today's shop have gone over budget. The Aldi voucher coming out a week early hasn't helped but I'll try not to spend any more this week - will declare next weekend. On the upside have got very good stocks on some items too. Have adjusted the figures slightly as bought 3 x 25 wash boxed washing powder early in the month and will not use all 3 in 1 month, so have deducted the price of 2 boxes which I will carry over onto next month. Will try to do some bulk buying of meat to then portion up and freeze next month - I have done this before and it does work for me.
I'm off to get the dinner ready - I'm sure it's now time for a pre-dinner drink of the alcoholic variety!
Keep safe and well, especially those with snow and bad weather conditions.

Hi I really wouldnt worry to much about the small overspend as you have stocked up on a lot of things for next month, I think its sensible to go budget one month if it means taking advantage of a voucher to have a much smaller spend the next month.Slimming World at target0 -
Now at €153.54 spent...will probably make it to the end of the month, but there are lots of things that will need replacing....feel that I need an extra €15-20 but not sure at present where it will come from, big review of budget needed I think

Evening fellow challengees
I couldn't face my weekly shop after work today, weather just too grey and drizzly so wanted DS, DD and me all home and warm asap. Needed milk though, should have bought an extra 4pt from Icel*nd in the week as paid £1.29 at Mr T garage on way home. Only £1 at Icel*nd. No wonder DS and DD are growing so fast, amount of milk they get through!
Have updated signature to £263.79/£300. Will do last shop at Mr T tomorrow or Sunday as want to use my £5 off £40 coupon, so have calculated I must spend between £40 and £41.21 to stay in budget. Think I might be getting slightly obsessed :rotfl:.
Rather than checking my shopping online after to see how much it might have cost me elsewhere (which seems perfectly normal behaviour to me by the way), I am going to do my shopping list online tonight so that I can be sure that I get what I need when I go, get some good deals for my money and stay on the straight and narrow! Also, will shop and scan when I go with my list, just to make sure.
Will declare after this last shop.
Off to have a nice bubble bath, lovely.

Having only been into March's budget 7 days, we've managed to spend the grand total of £235.16/£300. The latter of this budgetary month will be spent dredging the freezer and scraping the cupboards.....:eek:When it's dark, look for stars. When it's raining look for rainbows.
