Sig updated and well in target. Spends at Iceland £4.50, Lidl £31.11 and MrT £12.93. DH family coming down Easter Monday but I have a frozen turkey for that. I will do some baking this weekend and freeze so the only thing that is costly is the wine and as I am so in target it shouldn't be a problem.I'm so glad I do the challenge every month as it keeps me focused . I must have wasted hundreds every month before on food that went bad and got thrown out.
Next month I'm going to concentrate on using up what's in the store cupboards and freezers as things have been lurking for awhile! My secret fantasy is having 2 men....

I thought about the stamp, but thought it best to offer anyway.
Been in C*-*p and got YS bread. This included, some fancy rolls  ( not meant to eat these as on SW; but have felt drained all week and have been quite naughty). Also, some scotch pancakes for DD for the weekend (gonna make note to start getting these full-price again at SM as these are still pricey YS) .... *chants* I must stop buying, i must stop buying.
Also grabbed milk and strawberries (both of which i was completely out of), as it's snowing bad here; and i'm hoping after the school run this aft, i won't need to venture out again.

Well our house guests for the weekend have arived, and they are clearly the best house guests ever as they brought with them: 4 loaves of "artisan" bread; a hamper of posh cheeses and crackers; a delicious strawberry gateaux; chocolate eggs and a massive box of italian biscuits and plenty of booze! All fantastic (and expensive!) produce we would not be buying at the moment so massive treats for us!

Hi everyone,
Just back from A!di having got the voucher yesterday. I too thought it would be in next weeks paper, soto all those that missed it.
Took a list with me and the only extra items were a bunch of daffs and some spinach to boost my iron (spinach NOT the daffs).
Spent £62.56 so £57.56 after the voucher. Lady in front of me spent £107  although she did have a lot of meat. I got a nice big leg of lamb for Sunday - haven't had lamb in ages so really looking forward to that.
Because I have the time (and am quite a saddo) I have just input my shopping into Ts website and the equivalent items would have cost me £81.03 so it just goes to show the value in A!di products, and I must admit to preferring some of them to the mainstream SMs.
I have £28 odd to last until the end of the month. I have meal-planned for the rest of the month and aside from milk and fruit we shouldn't anything else.
Sorry to hear many of you have snowparticularly Tess - what a nightmare. Just think of how toasty and warm you will be once the new windows are in.
Off to update sig. Have a great day everyone.

Just done my big shop in A*di. There should be loads in for next week but I'm over budget. I think next month I will have to revert to my previous budget. Trying to shave €10 a week off just didn't work. My spend is €600.55/€560.00 and 6 days to go!0
