  • Thankyou for your contribution 'healthyheat'. I am trying to be positive, but also don't want discredit people who have their own apparent knowledge of heating. I know that the best way to clarify 'facts' from debate is empirical evidence. I also own 2 panels. I suspected that they might work because I was able to get reasonable heat from them out of 8-10 units per day, for a decent duration. Though I suspect that they might work based on my own experience, we are still hoping for more empirical evidence. As I mentioned earlier I could only find 2 university studies from Germany, one positive and the other negative.
Can you cite any other studies, or even give us an idea how the trial at 'Scotstarvit cottage is doing?' We are hoping you can because as you well know, this is a new concept in heating, bringing with it much criticism.

Are you posting on here as a representative of Infranomics or its agencies? If so, you need to be approved as a Company Rep by MSE before you can do so. Then it is clear to all where your interest lies.

With respect it is not a new concept in heating - it has been around for many years and was used by my grandparents. In an unheated bathroom it was common to have such a heater.

Secondly the only criticism is for the marketing claims by this firm. Their website clearly tries to fool potential customers into believing that you get 'more heat for your bucks' than other electrical heaters and you simply do not.

Also why not put prices on the website - even indicative prices. As said earlier; 'To require access to a premises by a salesman 'to discuss options' is typical of the Modus operandi of 'snake oil' salesmen.'

Yes we are happy to let people try before they buy.

I'm all for anyone offering help to people in the group, however I assume anyone sitting at their computer doesn't just by chance come across a thread on MSE about 'the subject' but actually searches the World Wide Web for the the subject for a very specific reason. It's strange how many first time posters are here to help people with the subject

In this case 'spamspam', another brand new poster is offering help to anyone on the condition they go off the board and away from the safety and scrutiny the board we users, and its moderators offer. Its entirely possible that 'spamspam' is a nice genuine person - its equally possible he is just here touting for business and money by getting people into private messaging, I don't know, you don't know, no one knows.

NOTE: There are many vulnerable people on this board who might just be enticed off forum and out of view to the dark murky unseen and unsafe world of Private Messaging in response to an invitation from a complete stranger. Don't do this, protect yourself by posting openly in the forum - if in doubt ask for a moderator or email the MSE team for advice before you go to private messaging and especially before you hand over any private details.
Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. If anyone within this thread would at any time like to speak to our customers who have whole house Infranomic systems installed and ask them about the savings they are achieving then feel free to contact me. There appears to be no balance on this forum whatsoever and yet everyone claims expertise without any empirical evidence whatsoever. We are happy to speak to sceptical people as they are usually the people with the most closed minds to new concepts.
Stick with your old convection heating and enjoy complaining about rising fuel costs until all of a sudden you will be on a different forum in a year or two claiming that you knew all about the benefits of infranomic heating before anyone else.
    You know who you are.....

Ist and 2nd post are both encouraging people 'off board' do not do this its dangerous, report it to the moderators, but never go 'off board' and out of sight to other posters.

Yes, you do. If you refer to the forum rules it tells you there how to apply for Company Rep status.
But if you are representing Infranomics, then who is Healthyheat, to whom my question was addressed?

MoneySavingExpert.com is a free site - you cannot pay to buy advertising space - one of the reasons why so many people use it! Equally, you're not allowed to advertise any goods, services and/or companies anywhere on the forum, or through private messages, no matter how honourable your intentions. Advertising or posting for gain is strictly forbidden. If you disagree - get in touch with Brendan or Darren - see the HOW TO CONTACT US button on the TRHS of your screen.

I didn't say they were part of your network .. .. you by assumption did !

No one not one single individual is saying you can't chat, I am saying you can't advertise any goods, services and/or companies anywhere on the forum, or through private messages, no matter how honourable your intentions. Advertising or posting for gain is strictly forbidden.

You have clearly already broken that rule again by mentioning Infranomic in your title.

You asked how you could "place an official statement within this thread and how do I go about it please?, I gave you the link twice, I'll do so again. Look for the HOW TO CONTACT US button on the TRHS of your screen, then click on it.

As for 'Healthyheat', I note you have disassociated yourself from that operation, in which case let them speak for themselves, your threat has been noted.

The implied threat you made in the thread above, I didn't say they were part of your network .. .. you by assumption did !

You keep asking 'how to' contact the 'team', assuming you understand how - make that contact with the MSE team.
