  • The best disinfectant for the marketing infection called hype and shill, is the exposure to the sunlight of truth and fact from the MSE 'thinking' forum members. The triumph of marketing over science is a phenomenon that never ceases to amaze me, the relentless quest of the salesman to mislead with pseudo-science in order to exploit an opportunity to grab some dosh from the unwary has existed since man first stood upright, one of the better examples being the snake~oil~salesman.
