Today is catchup day for me. Still in bed though with a cuppa. We have some snow here.
TMD Belated birthday greetings.
Pigpen OMG. Hope you are all ok. Take care.0 -
Lost the plot this week. DH painted our bedroom yesterday. The smell of paint is overpowering but it's arctic outside so windows are not wide open.
I've made the cake for my nephew's birthday tomorrow. I just need to decorate it now.
The house is reasonably tidy. I have scary amounts of ironing to do.
The plan for today is to take DD2 to tennis, sandwich the defrosting cakes together. Colour the fondant and cover the cake. Take DD2 to gymnastics, go swimming while she is twirling and somersaulting. I will do the spiderman bit tomorrow as I suspect something will happen to upset my plans.
Good day wishes to all.0 -
Pigpen good lord!! Healing vibes aplenty to you all. We did tell you to stay at home

Morning all. I have been sitting on PC for about an hour having breakfast but need to get my backside in gear now. Things I have to (try) to do today:
Buy Beyonce tickets (failed on Thursday)
Get dressed
Wash up (breakfast things only for a change)
Hoover downstairs
Put washing on airer (snow is forecast)
Walk dogs twice
Pick up SickDogs tabs from vet
Get haircut
Mooch around the charity shops (need jumpers)
Do big monthly shop (but try to keep it as tiny as poss)
Hoping to get back home before the snow starts. Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Well was officially useless this week, although kitchen not too bad.
Today I will clear floordrobe in bedroom, finishing of all the wm and td. May attempt mount ironing.
Sitting in bed with cuppa watching the snow flurries. Must walk dog before it settles too much - although she doesn't seem to mind!2015 £2 Saver #82

Pigpen, goodness you're having such a carp time of it. I've just skimmed the thread and seen all that's going on - if you're away then I hope it goes as well as could be expected and if you're at home that's even better. Look after yourself.
Hope everyone is OK - I'll be much better next week at Flying and keeping up with stuff. Have a lovely weekend all

Wm and dw on. Some decluttering of kitchen and some carpdelivered to charity shop.0 -
Kitchen dailies done, wm fed and emptied, DW emptied, bags ready for football club. Just waiting for tots to get home.
DD class is 10 to 10:45 and DS is 11:30 grr 45 min between not long enough to come home but too long to sit around with a 4yo and 2.5yo. There is a tesco extra over the road so we might go buy some milk and let the tots choose something for lunch. And if we take our time getting our coats on that could waste 30 min. Roll on the warmer weather when we can take a picnic for between classes, lol.
Still haven't done the kids beds but will do them this aft, we might play upstairs for a bit later, and maybe have a nap

You know how I do drama spectacularly..
OH crashed the car half way up the M62.. The tiddlies were both fast asleep and Squeak woke up and was crying and saying 'what happened? What happened?'... poor pea was really scared.. until she got some juice and a biscuit thrust in her hand. Noone was hurt thankfully!
My back however is broken, as are my hips, and to go with my UTI I have silly-tonsils AGAIN!!! I can't have anything without getting this as well.. I wonder if I'd get silly tonsils if I got an infected ingrown toe!.. I may experiment
Trust you are safely wrapped up somewhere warm now - hope for your sake you are back at home! Hope the car isn't too badly damaged....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
