Hi there from a very cold north-west - it's bloomin' freezing up here! Hello to any new flyladies - sorry - I did try to memorise your names but new cat has been sat on me for a while and I can't either reach to look back or remember! Typing with one finger here!!

I managed around an hour's cleaning today after breakfast, and did the bathroom and our bedroom, but then got ready and met a friend for lunch, and had both a nice meal and a catch up! We talked for two hours non-stop! After that I went to the nearby Wait@@@e and treated OH and I to some nice savoury snacks and a couple of different ingredients for meals over the weekend, all in all, a good afternoon. Been home a while, done 1 x WM and TD and just about to start a meal for tonight. Just made a couple of phone calls to friends and I hope now to chill out.

Good wishes and good health vibes to those feeling poorly, I hope Valli and Pigpen (and father) are soon on the mend. Lamewolf, I hope the BD has soon run off - and you are so welcome to join the old fogies club! However, as well as a jar of Horlcks you will need fur lined slippers (mine are bootees) and sloppy/furry/woolly or suchlike 'relaxing' tops and bottoms. I have to admit I officially look a bu@@er - but a warm one!!! Seriously, I do hope you soon feel better and also hope the medics and chemists get their act together. It can be SO frustrating even when you feel well having to cope with all that, let alone when you feel bad to start with. Hugs to you.

Now cat free, so will press on with meal, bye for now, R x

  • Evening all

    _party__party_Happy Birthday to trulymadlydeeply:dance::dance:

LW how frustrating  I'm so sorry you've been led a right merry dance with your meds. Relaxing, soothing vibes heading your way xx

CY I hope DD is calmer now, bless her x

Well the sleepover turned civilised with everyone tucked up in bed - quietly - by 11.30. Amazing!!

Today has been mainly spent bra shopping with DD and decluttering far too much ££ in N*w L**k (thanks dearly departed mad uncle). DD is off to see One Direction tomorrow evening and is in a state already - we've already had excited tears today

Only the basics done today, as they will be tomorrow as I'm out all day with my two best friends :D

Have a good evening all

    Evening everyone!
    TMD - Happy Birthday
    Welcome to all newbies.

Dusty - so pleased to hear about Ed :D

Hugs to all especially Toots, L-L, LW, pigpen and Valli (and anyone else I've forgotten :o) xx

I had a great time away - an interesting day in Oxford and a gorgeous sunny day at Blenheim Palace :D

Yesterday, I went to the cinema and then everything caught up with me and I was wiped out for late afternoon and evening :o

Today I have done washing, cleaned the kitchen, made some yummy soup and then took some round to Dad's for us to have for lunch, and cleaned out the ratties.

Going to sit in front of the tv in a bit and do some paperwork / sorting for an hour and then allow myself some cross stitching as a reward :D

  • Happy birthday TMD :D Sounds like you've had a good day and I hope your evening is lovely too!

LW - what a fiasco! No wonder you're so annoyed! I hope it gets sorted out asap! I suppose Easter is only 5 weeks away, so maybe you'll have a fury house guest to tell us all about quite soon; in the meantime I hope you can give yourself some deserved tlc x

No flying to report as was out all day with DD's; we went to a friends who has ponies and the girls spent hours grooming, sorting feed and riding; it was FREEZING!!!! Home now, and we're all worn out so it will be baths and early nights all round :) zzzzz

Will have a look at the list and get a few bits done tomorrow...

    Cake x
