Back from my HHC and I have:
sorted laundry and put a wash on
cleaned toilet, bath, sink
cleaned floor in bathroom
cleaned any remaining windows and glass throughout the house
Not bad going really, but a bit more to do. Could do with popping to B&Q as well at some point. Just off to research how to resolve a peeling paint problem in my lounge that resulted after damp.

There's some super-serious frog-munching going on here. Am now frustrated because I've got to take a break.
Have caught up on Fred. Pigpen, please be gentle on yourself while you're feeling under the weather. Lamewolf, I have thrown sticks as far as I can for your BD; I hope they help. Valli, I hope your cold is better. Get well vibes for everyone else who's feeling under the weather.
As I type, new people are moving into the house opposite, which is about five metres away from us. Am I a horrible person for being worried that most of their stuff is arriving in carrier bags?Better is good enough.0 -
Teens awakened. One by supplying a cuppa, the other by dusting his room and asking him about golf clubs - gotta know how to push the right buttons
Off to do the next bedroom (I hate dusting bedrooms). DS1 to be tasked with cleaning bedroom windows - window cleaners just been - as I was getting dressed in the bathroom and our blind is very sheer - somebody dashed into the hallway very quickly to put their clothes on:o:cool:
DS2 can polish shoes
DS3 um, need to find a suitable job, he has at least had his shower. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

We have two very big, beefy, testosterone-charged workmen here working in the basement. Dog, having scoffed her breakfast sardine keeps nipping down there to see what they are doing. I'm slightly concerned all the activity will cause more carpet scrubbing later, but given that most people seem to think she's at death's door, I'm thrilled to bits by her interest and activity.
Besides which, I heart my carpet scrubber/washer now, so I'm waiting for another excuse to crank it up. Roll on the hot, dry weather.Better is good enough.0
