There's some super-serious frog-munching going on here. Am now frustrated because I've got to take a break.

Have caught up on Fred. Pigpen, please be gentle on yourself while you're feeling under the weather. Lamewolf, I have thrown sticks as far as I can for your BD; I hope they help. Valli, I hope your cold is better. Get well vibes for everyone else who's feeling under the weather.

As I type, new people are moving into the house opposite, which is about five metres away from us. Am I a horrible person for being worried that most of their stuff is arriving in carrier bags?

Teens awakened. One by supplying a cuppa, the other by dusting his room and asking him about golf clubs - gotta know how to push the right buttons ;)

Off to do the next bedroom (I hate dusting bedrooms). DS1 to be tasked with cleaning bedroom windows - window cleaners just been - as I was getting dressed in the bathroom and our blind is very sheer - somebody dashed into the hallway very quickly to put their clothes on:o:cool:

    DS2 can polish shoes

DS3 um, need to find a suitable job, he has at least had his shower.

    Welcome to newbies!

Kiddies have gone with granny to swimming, then she called to say pool was full so they are going to her gym one instead, and can they sleep over? So I of course bit her hand off and am now planning a lunchtime nap :T

Nipped up to town for a few essentials, put a wash on and had a couple go hhc this morning:

Fearsome Friday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clean floors in these rooms[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
[STRIKE]Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins! (the proper bins not the rooms that look like bins!)
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required[/STRIKE]
Clear a mega hotspot!.. shred it.. and fling it.. or just burn it!
    Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
Wipe down the doors and frames in these rooms.
Clean the radiators in these rooms
Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
    [STRIKE]Replace sponges/flannels/toothbrushes that are in need[/STRIKE]
Extra 30 minutes ironing.. school uniforms? work clothes?

We have two very big, beefy, testosterone-charged workmen here working in the basement. Dog, having scoffed her breakfast sardine keeps nipping down there to see what they are doing. I'm slightly concerned all the activity will cause more carpet scrubbing later, but given that most people seem to think she's at death's door, I'm thrilled to bits by her interest and activity.

Besides which, I heart my carpet scrubber/washer now, so I'm waiting for another excuse to crank it up. Roll on the hot, dry weather.
