  • Hello one and all, back for a lurk- flying has been pants this week (as opposed to flying by the seat of my pants :rotfl:)

chewing poisonous frogs has been my downfall, it might be the worst thing we do all day, but for me if the frog involves my sister or Estate handling I cannot function or give attention properly to anything else :(

Lost most of yesterday, as I had to wait in for a delivery for kids, but had to agree to DD2 having her new boyfriend over for the day to cover when I had to take DS to and from nursery (the EX agreed to that bargain and I was lumped with it ) the delivery as it turns out were two new sofas (bit cross with myself that I never managed to v@x up the carpet, as now I have two heavy sofas that definitely cannot move by myself, so need to get spoons, and co-operative young Skints together to tackle this one)

DD2's bf stayed later than I thought was polite seeing it was the first time of meeting him (he wasn't picked up until 10.10pm :mad::mad:)

Health visitor also turned up yesterday, Skint Baby has put on 9oz in 7 days despite her snuffly nose, so chuffed my Daisy efforts are paying off,:j even if that means next to no sleep for me:(

Just going to lurk today and get DD3 to keep the tea flowing, and have a look at tomorrows list when it comes on later tonight, then see what I can cross off for the week

At some point I need to find my GUAG to drag the rubbish outside ready for the morning (Council says collection starts at 7am, but they come along my road whenever they feel like it from about 6am :eek::eek:)

hugs, sticks and spoons for all, extras for Piggers and Opto-mum
The cold never bothered me anyway
  • Spent yesterday sorting through DS3's wardrobe, 2 full bin bags of outgrown clothes gone from the boys bedroom. Even got a good bit done in our bedroom and more ironing. :D

Today has been spent doing more washing and charity stuff. Managed to get all the wood for the memory garden, so i'm chuffed. :D Plus i got the computer working so DD can get school stuff done on it.

Had abit of a weird one, the girl that bullied DD in her last school has been trying to get in touch with her. Sending her messages through fb about being friends, yet a mutual friend of the bully and DD got DD on the phone and bad monthed the bully (i think the bully was sitting with this girl) asking DD what she thought of the bully. Poor DD, it scared her. Needless to say if bully gives any trouble i'll be landing at her mothers door. Child seems to have a very short memory of what she put DD through.

Plan now for me is just to get dw loaded and kids to bed.

Pigpen hope your dad is better soon and that you get a relaxing weekend.

Hi all, I have decided to de-clutter my undersink cupboard which is full of half-used bottles of cleaning stuff I hardly ever use. I was wondering what you guys have as cleaning item essentials? x

Harpic, bleach, disinfectant, white wine vinegar, lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda, very hot water, lots of clean cloths & rubber gloves :)

  • Piggers please stay put and look after yourself xx Hope you get good news about your dad soon xx

Valli I hope you feel better very soon xx

My house is taken over with 16-yr-old girls  Only 4 of them but it's a small house. They are watching DVDs and youtube videos and laughing/screeching very loudly. I'm banished upstairs, in DS's room as my double mattress is in DD's room for them to sleep on so I'm not even in the comfort of my own room!! I need to climb down from this cabin bed, eat the pizza leftovers and grab the leftover wine I think

Oh, lots of flying done earlier in preparation for the visitors :)

  • Evening all,

Just updating todays list and rather pleased with the result :) I have been at home all day with DDs but they have entertained themselves quite happily so I've had no excuse not to complete the list really... DD1 has been in her room most of the day doing course work stuff and generally being 17 and DD2 has had a friend over to play. They went to the park nearby for a short while but it was too cold so they came back and baked some buns and then played on the wii.
