DS3 very disappointed at my inability to help create a model of the Grand Canyon form an egg box, amazon box, laughing cow box and tissue paper, I tried - teachers - do not set challenging homework for what is half term holiday.
I can however cook perfect boiled eggs so he is happy now. He is off to his Nan's later so I will get my report finished!
Lunch cooking for DS2 and me and then I'll hoover to warm myself up before sitting still for a while. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
As usual, I underestimated how long it would take me to get all the rest of he jobs on my list done, but I am now sitting down with :coffee: and not one but two hot cross buns
I think I deserve them!
The house is looking better than it has ever done, so bring on the estate agents! One is coming at 3.00 today to value the house and two more tomorrow, with the one I expect to use being the last.
DH is in London visiting his sister and no doubt discussing his early retirement and our move. A fortnight ago he was most unhappy about both of these, but having suggested viewing a house that we both like, I think he is feeling more in control.0 -
Online shop done to stock up on laundry powder and some offers.

Mary went home yesterday afternoon, and guess what - the bloomin' BD has moved right in to fill the gap.:(
Currently scratting about to try and do all the tasks that either got left or only cursorily done while I was looking after the little lass; and I have a pile of membership paperwork to plough through (still no takers for that task, surprise surprise - honestly, I think apathy would rule amongst the members in this area, but it can't be bothered!)
Anyways - healing vibes for Piggers' Dad; that sounds very, very unpleasant, I hope he's not too uncomfortable. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Me too ionafan! Both in my underestimation of time to takle the jobs and the sitting down with a cuppa; we definitely deserve itMy HHC was nearer a 90 min challenge but I have changed the bed and sorted DH's clothes so have a bin bag full of more stuff for CS and lots of space on shelves and in wardrobe :j I then got a bit keen and cleaned the window in our room then moved on to DD's bedroom windows and the bathroom window too! Still need to hoover through upstairs but came down to make some lunch and now just finishing a nice cup of tea before I take the hoover upstairs
