I have 1 leaving high school this year and 1 moving up to high school next year. I had 1 start high school and 1 leave high school last year. With any luck I'll have 2 off to college this year..
I need to sort packing for the weekend
I need to text my sister to check on the drama llama in the hospital.
Then I have a stack of vacuuming to do and wipe down the entire kitchen.. though I may set OH on that task. There is a ton of washing to sort too..... busy today then... Anyone up for an 8HC??? lol

Good morning
Thanks for the comments on storage. It is mainly stuff she will need for next year - kitchen stuff, crockery, bedding, small tv etc. Sh also has a desk, bookcase, chest of drawers & bedside table. The cod is from here, so could come back. The desk & bookcase are new, but she probably won't need them in halls. She will probably not need to bring home winter clothing (hopefully!). She has a part time job and rarely asks for money (especially now! She objected to me buying her a birthday present - for her 21st!!) She is getting quite good at budgetingI just don't want the stuff here, causing rows in the girls' bedroom!
Plan for today (after a lazy start) is:
go to town - DD2 needs a gold pen for her photography book
Vax the LR carpet
send a reminder text for an invoice that hasn't been paid
other stuff I can't think of now
Pigpen - I agree - don't go to OH's Mum's if you are not feeling well - you don't enjoy it anyway! I hope your Dad is ok.0 -
Pigpen Hope your Dad is well soon. I had a blood clot in my lung, pleurisy and pneumonia when I was pregnant with DS2 and it was extremly painful. x
Dusty Glad to hear about Ed.
DS2 is in yr 6 but will stay at his new school as it goes upto 19yrs. It will be strange though. Not having a primary child.
Valli Get well vibes for you
This morning I have
S&S Bathroom, cleaned soap dishes etc
2xWM
Stripped DS2 bed and am leaving it to air
Supervised HW
Took photos and put stuff up for sale
Booked DS2 opticians & Miss Muddy Paws jabs.
Synchronised diary & calender
Washed hair
Off to look at what I should be doing.

Have looked at the list for today and pleased to see that I have done a couple of the tasks this week already. I do need to go and change the bedding and hoover through though and I'm going to have a sort through DH clothes too; how many T-shirts can one man need?!
I think he has so many because preflylady I was terrible at keeping up with the washing  but these days we could probably all manage on 3 or 4 days worth of clothing as everything is washed, dried and put back away within a day or two
Anyway, not going to bother with turning and hoovering bed as getting a new one delivered next Friday :j:j So pleased as ours has well and truely had it (it is over 15 years old  )

Anyone else want to join me for HHC 12-12.30?

How very annoying. Went all the way to the shopping outlet (after checking website to see opening times) and the bl@@dy shoe shop was closed for refurb, now why didn't they put that online???
Still. Not an entirely wasted journey, kiddies got to stretch their legs, and had brekkie and a bun in a cafe, I had a nice cuppa and got a sweater dress from monsoon, reduced from £69 to £16.50, perfect fit, body and purse! :T
We are just warming up in front of the fire now, there is a bitter wind, and we'll go off to our play date this afternoon... Might even make some biccies first...Bossymoo

I'm with you, Cake. I've been at it all morning - haven't sat down for my hot cross bun and coffee yet, but the end is in sightAnother 20 minutes should see the hall and kitchen done....

Joined in with Cake's HHC but started a bit early
I stripped my bed
shuffled laundry, dark & dank here today so TD is in use
Filled bin bag
Changed BR cups
Sorted kids wardrobe easy as DS1 has most of his clothes with him
Think I will set off on another HHC and have lunch about 1pm0
