Well done! :T It's amazing how much stuff and rubbish kids collect under their beds! I am hoping to get DD2 to clear out under her bed and we'll sort through her clothes before the end of this half term holiday; maybe we'll get it done on Saturday...
Have done the dailies and spent a few hours with DD2 doing a couple of decoupage projects and she now has a gorgeous little pig and name initial to put up in her room. We had lunch with MIL and then DD2 got invited to go swimming and for tea at a friends so I find myself at home alone (DH at work and DD1 is out with friends too). I can't remember who was saying how strange it was to not have primary age children any more, but I completely agree. It is really odd sometimes how little they need me at timesbut it is also lovely that they are turning into independent young people
and DD2 still loves me to tuck her in at bedtime
and DD1 still loves to come in and give me a big hug and chat to me about anything and everything
:D
Anyway, I think I'll have a look at the list and see what's to do...0 -
Not much done off todays list but planning to sort out DD2's room at the weekend with her 'help'
Think I'll have a nice cuppa and look at some recipies to add to my meal plan as getting into a bit of a rut....

Wash the nets/curtains.. and while they are down clean those face prints offthe window!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
If you manage to get the floor cleared.. vacuum the rest that you couldn't seebefore.. it'll look like a new room!

Good evening all, I'm afraid the only thing I've managed since coming home from work was put dinner on and shuffle the laundry...........I then sat down to eat food and haven't moved!!!
I do intend to get the dishes done (found a few in DD's room!!!) and do a bit of ironing.........didn't have any yesterday and now I have a small pile!!!!
Hope all are well and hugs and spoons to all in need xx0 -
Drank too much tea (finally warmed me up though) and now feel a bit ick.
Tots watching gruffalo's child. DS has just kissed DD :A
FWIW I use plastic pegs, I have a peg basket, and they live under my sink. They are all shades of blue and I couldn't give a monkeys which one pegs whatthough it always seems to rain when I do the washing, so I haven't used them for a while.
I have a whirlygig outside set into the edge of the lawn where I can reach from the patio, and the cover has a tear in it
Think that's everything. :rotfl:Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
All windows cleaned today - except for the one behind the kitchen sink which DH always manages to splash just after I've cleaned it
He's been at home today, and worked hard at clearing the garage :A
Tomorrow he's leaving home early to visit his sister in London - East Coast line permitting - and I shall be able to fly with a tail wind
My study is now properly tidy (that took me over 2 hours this morning), as are all other rooms, so tomorrow morning I just need to
- clean all through downstairs
- tidy the patio - move pots and bins
- change and wash towels and bedding
- touch up paint in the utility
- S&S bathrooms
Then bring on the first estate agent! Two more to come on Friday :T0 -
Kitchen Level one and two done.
Dailies done
Bins emptied.
Met a friend for lunch which was nice as I had not seen her for a while.
Hugs spoons and sticks where needed.0 -

You're not the only one! I haven't actually eaten, as I went out for lunch with 2 work colleagues (2 courses for £6.95 in the pub over the road from college!).
All I have done since getting back is:
- 2 comparison sites on car insurance (so in theory that may be £2 earned via cashback for getting a quote)
- emailed horse society as they seem to have quoted too much for membership renewal i.e. the non direct debit cost
- picked up a few things from bedroom floor
BUT the dishwasher is mended yippeeeeee :j
Absolutely HAVE to finish a report tonight; can't believe it has taken so long - my main enemy if I go freelance is going to be procrastination. Anyone got any solutions for giving oneself a kick up the proverbial? That's my biggest worry. What if I just don't get up/spend all day on forums/sitting in conservatory with kindle??????Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Hi there. I've been a good little flylady today, and actually followed the list!
I must stop looking smug (!) - but - I spent 3 hours in the spare bedroom and re-organised all the wardrobes and drawers in there and now have three big bags for charity and a couple of things that might suit a friend. It now not only looks great, but I know where things are, and they are in a 'proper' order. I use this room as my dressing room so all the stuff in there is mine. I've found some winter clothes I'd forgotten I had! I'd started this a few days ago, but really got going today and I'm so pleased with the result. (did I say I was smug!!) Also, OH, did all of his wardrobes in the main bedroom, and has had a good clear out, which is good for him - he rarely throws/gives things away.
Also cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, changed all the de-humidifiers, tidied the lounge and just been sorting through old mags and chucked out redundant stuff.
Anyway, time to go! Our meal has just 'pinged' off, so we'll settle down with a movie after that. Good vibes to everyone, especially those feeling poorly, and good wishes all round, R x0 -
Hi all
Another one who's not done much flying today
However I have been to Sainsbugs (their basics tea bags are now 35p up from 27p ) shopping has been put away & tea cooked.
Will S&S bathroom & put clothes from WM on maiden before bed.
LW would the senior doctor at the practice be the person to complain to?
Valli hope you feel better soon
RT it's very liberating decluttering so feeling smug is justified
Opto-mum hope you're ok
Goodnight all
Deco x0
