Bless you, Valli. Love your style, but please don't spread your germs this way. This is the first winter ever I haven't had a cold or three.
Tadpole munched. The thank you letter that has been outstanding since 30 May last year has been written, addressed and a stamp unearthed. Yay me!Better is good enough.0 -
LW have you written to pharmacy/practice manager to complain?
Ooh, I looked at today's official list.... tbh, I'm glad today that I Fly "off piste" as there is no way I could face an evening out in the foreseeable future. Of course, once Mary goes home, I'm going to have to keep Mr LW from thinking about visiting the pub; daft man won't go on his own, (ie without me) and I don't want to go.
Just waiting for a call to let me know what time Mary's to be picked up - she was originally due to leave at 10:30 this morning, then the agent was asked to attend an event to do with the medical aid dogs charity she's involved with - they train up dogs to (for instance) alert epileptics when they're about to have a seizure, that sort of thing; so anyways, she asked could I keep Mary til this afternoon and she'll let me know when she's on her way - Mary's "mum" has agreed to this, and Mary's no bother to keep for an extra few hours.:o
As soon as she's been picked up, I shall remove the newspaper "carpet" and put the Dyson round the place.:o
Best wishes, healing vibes, anti-cold vibes - whatever you need - all in a neat pile on the table, help yourselves.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Woke up with sore throat, head, stiff neck and aching limbs today. Been in work since 9am and am just chilling on the sofa with a very fiery dahl I made yesterday - never done it before but was lovely - and other than that I shan't do anything else as I'm back in work tonight from 5pm until 10 and I need to conserve some energy. OH doing school runs and has emptied the utility room into the kitchen to paint it and also put a screed (sp?) on the kitchen window sill to lay some tiles so no point even trying to do owt in there.
I S&S'd the bedrooms, study and bathroom before I went out this morning and put things away so all is tidy upstairs at least.
I will try and get back into it tomorrow night when I finish work.
Hugs, slippers, duvets, prods and cuppas for everyone - help yourselves.
