Drank too much tea (finally warmed me up though) and now feel a bit ick.
Tots watching gruffalo's child. DS has just kissed DD :A

Bossy, I love reading about your 'tots' the picture was so sweet too :) Hope you're feeling a bit better...

Well, no recipe browsing for me... I noticed that I the laundry was dry (hanging in laundry room) so thought I'd just fold and put it away whilst waiting for the kettle to boil. I took the basket upstairs and started putting it away and ended up emptying the ottoman of all towels and bedding and having a complete sort out! Now have a sack full of bedding and towels for CS and have put complete sets inside the corresponding pillowcase to keep what's left togther and orderly :D

Once that was all done, I finally made myself a cuppa and ate some frogs!!! Tricky emails that I've been voiding since the end of January  All done and I feel much better :j It's being on here and gaining motivation and support from other flyladies; thank you one and all :A:A:A

DD2 home from swimming with friend and now getting ready for bed, she looks worn out bless her...

    Evening all

Back from cricket so that is me done for the day. Managed to read another report whilst I was there, will need to do all the comments on it but first read is done.

A bit more frog chewing now, DS3 and DH watching The Brits so may get some peace.

Flying, did most of the washing up from dinner before I went out and emptied the DW.

I've worked it out (hopefully correct as maths is not my strong point) that it's an increase of 30% - it's outrageous!!!

  • Good evening :D

DH & DS have just watched Skyfall on DVD. I was half watching :o
DD1 has decided to go back into halls for her final year at Uni. At the moment she is sharing a flat with her BF, but he finishes in June so he will be going back home. This means that in June she will want to bring the contents of her flat (it is furnished, but she does have some furniture) home until September :eek: We have nowhere to put it, and she shares a bedroom with her sister :( I am toying with the idea of putting it into storage for a couple of months. It costs about £20 in petrol for the round trip, and it would take at least 2 trips. That is not to mention the cost to my nerves if the house is full of her stuff  Hopefully my mum will chip in with the cost, as we are not exactly flush :o We could do quite a few trips from the flat, if the storage was local to her. What do you ladies think?

I am not working tomorrow now, so I am considering giving the LR & hall carpets a going over with the vax - or maybe visiting my friend that I haven't seen for a while (or i could visit her while the carpet is drying!)

    Checking in..

I am not dead I have just had a busy week..

Pics of the girls yesterday, sorting DS3's new prescription and dropping in a urine sample for my poorly kidneys again.. OH played taxi for my sisters for my stepdads cousins funeral then took Squeak ice skating. DS2 took DS3 is insulin up to school as he forgot to pack it in his bag this morning.. doofus!!

I made moussaka for the first time tonight.. OH wasn't mega impressed nor was I and the children hoovered it.. DS3 even ate the mince yet claims we feed him mince to make him feel sick.

My dad was rushed into hospital this morning.. he has a blood clot on his lung and pneumonia.. his dad and older brother both died as a result of blood clots in the lung so my 84 y/o nanna is beside herself and hysterical.. As a result I have spoken to my aunt for the first time in 17 years this evening!

OH has been cleaning the back room and was not impressed to find a cat $h!t mine.. he has spent most of this evening cleaning it up.. and putting stuff in the shed..

We are supposed to be going to OH's mums this weekend and I really really do NOT want to go.. my back hurts, my kidneys and bladder are on fire and I have so much I need to do in the house.. I might just send him with Squeak and stay here with Dot.. it isn't like they'd miss us 2.

Bed time for me before the nocturnal baby wakes up!

Morning all. Just popped in to say hello. You all seem to have achieved so much yesterday, I'm glad I didn't even look at the list - that would have worn me out! Probably won't look at today's list either as its a new month for us today, so priority is sorting finances for it.

    Have a great day everyone.
