my new duvet set was dry so its ironed and on the bed - it looks really nice and was a total bargain. 400 thread count cotton white with burgundy edge all round pillows and duvet was £45 RTC £15 in an agros clearance shop.
culled my knicker drawer and gave it a good tidy 19 pairs, a bra and 2 pairs of ladders tights in the bin.
made a start on a CS box already got a few bits inSPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Duran Duran has been decluttered, and my room is tidy and hoovered again, flat surfaces have had all evidence of copious cups of tea removed, but CBA to wash/clean windows and blinds.....quite chuffed as Skint Baby, DS and I live in this one room.
DD1 room has been mostly de-Holly-fied, with washable nappies assembled with flushable liners now hidden in drawers out of site, and her flat surfaces cleaned so it is ready for her return at Easter or before if she wants to do a weekend drop in
DD2 has returned from night out on the tiles, and has just gone to bed, so any chance of flying in there will have to wait until she is starving or has had enough sleep whichever comes first
DD3 room has had a few stray items dealt with and her beds straightened out.
May venture downstairs with paper list and see what I can get rid of....and take 3 full baskets of washing with me as I go, once I can get Skint Baby to leave Daisy-ville for 2 seconds :rotfl: preferably now as DS has just quit for a nap :j

Not managed to get much done today except dw, wm and td and fire lit. OH has been shifting tin and old rubbish from around the yard, problem is he has done his back in. Hopefully he'll mend up alright could do with him giving a hand at the charity garden tomorrow. At least he's getting stuff done.
DD heading to her first night of deaf youth club, she doesn't know yet so she'll be supper excited tonight. I'm just the taxi driver 1 hour up and 1 hour back plus wait 2 hours, mind i think i'll have a nosey and see if any shops are open and get the boys some things (clothes wise) that they need.
Hello to all newbies...

I feel like I'm rattling around with no purpose today:( - perhaps it'll be better next week, when I shall be resuming my normal Flying schedule (my own one still);) and will feel a bit more "structured" iyswim.:o
I'm mega-stressed; after the fiasco getting the correct script from the GP surgery, I took it into S/Drug yesterday - my "usual" pharmacist is normally there Thursdays and Fridays. Not this time - she's on holiday, and as always happens when she's not there, they made a big fuss about they don't have everything in stock and don't know if they can get it. !!!!!!, I've been going there for years for this stuff, and "E" always manages to get it for me (which is why I go when she's due to be on duty). Anyways, I insisted on having a "meds owing" slip, and Mr LW is going to take me back in tomorrow morning to see what they've managed. Unfortunately, part of my MH problem is that any stress, however little, makes me very, very shaky, and often makes me physically sick.:( So I can well do without all this hassle.
Oh, and I tried to go online to see about an appointment for my meds review with Dr F and the system has been "upgraded" and no longer works, so that'll mean visiting the surgery again to try and book that at a time when Mr LW can take me - probably two or three visits, as they don't seem to have the diary done up more than a week or so ahead - at least online, you can just quickly log in, and if the diary's not done up, you haven't wasted spoons with an abortive trip out.
Sorry, that all turned into a bit of a rant, didn't it?:o:whistle:Do estate agents actually know what they're doing? If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Mammoth pile of ironing done this afternoon and back from the school run. Still more to do, so I might do another HHI then leave it at that, although I want to do a HHE before teatime as well. I need to get as much done as possible as tomorrow we have dancing for DD2, her school fair, then her friend's party and then I'm out tomorrow night. :j:j
Well nothing will get done with me sitting here, so I'll jump to it and do another HHI. Although there's still a few things on my list, the house is looking pretty tidy and clean and the main thing creating the mess now is my ironing pile in the bedroom.
Hugs LW - hope your medication and doctors appointment get sorted.0 -

I put mine into complete sets too Cake - makes life so much easier only having to grab one thing, rather than rooting around the airing cupboard for stuff. How very dare they???
Bossy - I was gobsmacked at the hike when I went for some teabags this week - I know it's only 8p but as a percentage, it's huge! I told myself to keep it in perspective and at least I no longer pay over £2 a pack these days.My dad was rushed into hospital this morning.. he has a blood clot on his lung and pneumonia.. his dad and older brother both died as a result of blood clots in the lung so my 84 y/o nanna is beside herself and hysterical.. As a result I have spoken to my aunt for the first time in 17 years this evening!
We are supposed to be going to OH's mums this weekend and I really really do NOT want to go.. my back hurts, my kidneys and bladder are on fire and I have so much I need to do in the house.. I might just send him with Squeak and stay here with Dot.. it isn't like they'd miss us 2.
Sorry to hear you and your Dad are suffering Pigpen - as others have said, stay at home and rest - especially whilst you have a legitimate reason to.
Welcome to the newbies - how have you got on so far? Don't be overwhelmed by it all - we've all been there and it all takes time - my upstairs is practically running itself nowadays with a little and often approach of 15 mins in a morning; downstairs on the other hand, is a completely different matter and will be another 12 months before it's anywhere near where I want it to be.
It's my Birthday today - YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY - OH made me smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagels for breakfast in bed today. The kids brought my cards up and gave me their wishes and hugs before School. Me, OH and my dearest friend went for a wonderful woody/riverside walk this morning with pooch, stopped for a little picnic (even though it was trying to snow :rotfl: ) and then called into a lovely hotel for afternoon tea. Just chilling out now and then having HH ME time before OH takes me out for Dinner whilst the kids are at Youth Club between 7 and 9. I feel very lucky.
Flyingwise - zilch! But tomorrow is another day :T
