Glad to hear you've now got your meds sorted LameWolf - and thank you and everyone else for even more Birthday wishes.
Started with a stinker of a cold yesterday which has multiplied today so OH took the kids out at 10.30 this morning and they've only just come in - they've been in the woods building a den - looks darned good too from the pictures DS has just shown me.
Decided I would feel worse if I lay in bed all day, so dosed myself up and pottered and have actually achieved lots. Kitchen is as square as it can be whilst OH has emptied the utility contents into it whilst decorating, but I've actually made a start on the oven . I only intended wiping the hob and putting some cleaner on it, but got carried away. Will have to go back to it in an hour to finish it off, but am chuffed to bits, especially as it's one of those range style with 2 ovens, a smaller grill/oven and a pan drawer, plus 8 rings on the top.
I'm gonna post the list and see what's been achieved this week - not a lot to be honest, but it might make me feel better.

Achieved more than I thought actually :TDecluttering junk and debt in 2016

Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 20160 -
Looking over my list, I've realised that the tasks that are getting left are mostly the dusting/wiping ones, so I need to have a rethink about how I do things. It would appear I'm obviously happy to deal with clearing floors of clutter, tidying up in general and hoovering and wiping around in the kitchen, but I don't seem to spend any time at all with a duster/wet cloth in my hands in any other room. Perhaps I should start with this area next week, maybe a HHW (wiping) session from now on.
Has anyone else noticed a neglected task in their routine? A job that is always put off?

Sorry I’ve only been lurking. I have done some flying but not as much as I wanted so I thought I’d post my excuses for the week
I’ve been really struggling with money at the moment and having a nightmare time with the CSA.
DD1’s CSA has been held since November as they supposedly need to do a review of my account. It might not have been so bad if they’d bothered to tell me but I knew nothing ‘til I phoned them in December to find out where the money was. I got the normal excuse that they’d sent me a letter, which they hadn’t. I, in fact haven’t received any letters regarding DD1’s CSA since May 2012 :mad:
Meanwhile, at the beginning of the week I got two CSA text messages saying money was going to be paid in I phone to confirm this to get told all money is being held
DD2’s dad pays me direct but they never bother to up date that on their system so he got a huge bill for DD2 and his son from another relationship. I then get a call from a woman dealing with DD2’s CSA to say money had been paid into my bank account which was actually meant for his other ex and could I please sent it back  So I had to do that this week.
Then yesterday when I was driving DD1 to her boyfriend’s a bloke in a van drove into the back of me! It’s the first time I’d ever had a proper accident, it was very scary. The bloke admitted it was his fault and also told me he had dodgey brakes anyway! Anyway, DD1 phoned my ex (DD2’s dad), he only lives 10 minutes down the road from where we had our accident. He came down and took over, which I’m very grateful for.
I had to take DD1 to a&e as her neck was hurting her, we were in there of 3 hours and she came home with two big boxes of pills.
Now I’m just waiting to find out if my cars going to be written off or not. So I now have a courtesy car which I picked up today.
The only nice thing that has happened is that the bloke I’m seeing dropped everything to travel down to check I was ok yesterday evening, he took me to the pub and stayed the night0 -
Hi all
TMD I seem to miss cleaning the kitchen/bathroom floors despite hettying them almost daily so last week I made a concerted effort to do it before I went to bed one night, despite the kitten chasing the mop across the kitchen.
If it's gone it's done

I am going to be having a rant at OH later... he is charged with allowing his stupid sister to consume a whole bottle of wine while out at the park with MY girls.. !!!!!!... do I have to chaperone them everywhere?! I then upset her by saying it is his responsibility to keep his children safe therefore he has every right to comment on her drinking in their company... That was her sulking upstairs like a toddler... He is for the high jump later.. I swear I will be making it crystal, transparently clear if there is ANY alcohol consumed in the presence of the children or the effects of alcohol in the presence of the children (ie being drunk and pi$$ing me off!) I will put myself and the children on the next train home..

For things like the wiping task (eg wiping light switches I do them in one fell swoop - microfibre cloth in hand and I wipe all round the house (well the floor level I am working on). Everywhere else gets Mr Sheen;)
I keep a loo wiper in the loo (behind the loo) and wash it.
Anyway I'm off up the Peak District getting a son...
It was SNOWING up there last night...
Hope you had a good birthday - have a belated smily

Drinking in the park pigpen? Bl@@dy hell how old is she? 15? I'd be hopping mad too.
Well, we've had a quiet afternoon here, just a bit of craft stuff left over from DS birthday (made a pirate ship) and they are having dinner now, spaghetti bol wi toast triangles to dip in. I've done their beds so have a wash I could put on too. If I can find somewhere to dry it.
I can't work DS out, he told me this morning he wasn't going to be grumpy at football any more, then he refused to play. Then he cried when I took him home early, and said he would do it next week. I took his kit off him and he seemed relieved. So I left him, then later I asked him if he didn't want to go, and he said that he did. So I explained it costs pounds and if he didn't like it there is other things we can spend on. So then he said we could go dancing. Ok, so you don't want to do football anymore? "Yes I like it" why won't he just tell me what he wants???
So. I'm away next weekend (hurrah) and my mum is having them. So I'll let her do once last attempt at football, and if he doesn't do it, then we'll pack it in I think. I'll just take DD, who seems to love it as long as she can wear her fairy skirt :rotfl:
