I am going to be having a rant at OH later... he is charged with allowing his stupid sister to consume a whole bottle of wine while out at the park with MY girls.. !!!!!!... do I have to chaperone them everywhere?! I then upset her by saying it is his responsibility to keep his children safe therefore he has every right to comment on her drinking in their company... That was her sulking upstairs like a toddler... He is for the high jump later.. I swear I will be making it crystal, transparently clear if there is ANY alcohol consumed in the presence of the children or the effects of alcohol in the presence of the children (ie being drunk and pi$$ing me off!) I will put myself and the children on the next train home..

    GGGGGGGGggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

    *spits feathers*

I reckon, knowing where your OH's family live, that I can be confident of hearing the aforementioned explosion her in York! (And that my mum, living just up t'road in 't'Grove, will be deafened!)

You go girl - you are RIGHT ( of course) - noone should be drinking/drunk in front of your kids!

Hope you are feeling better - you'll be home tomorrow....

    Morning!

All fed and dressed here, DS tidied his bedroom and we've done the playroom too. Laundry put away, bags ready for today and tomorrow, kitchen dailies done. Just ied to Skype my brother but they are having dinner (different time zone...) so will call us back in a bit. Then we are going to my mums for Sunday lunch. Suspect we'll be out till late afternoon. Still, less time to make a mess! Also did s&s bathroom as DS wasn't paying attention

TMD I seem to miss cleaning the kitchen/bathroom floors despite hettying them almost daily so last week I made a concerted effort to do it before I went to bed one night, despite the kitten chasing the mop across the kitchen.

I guilty as charged too on that one. Living on a farm, everyone comes in through the kitchen and paddles dust and leaves in off their boots and although it's swept at least twice a day, mopping it is another matter. Note to self - must do 100% and not 50%

Thanks for highlighting this. Okay, so next week begins with HHW(iping) and then kitchen, lounge and bathroom floors doing properly, before I take on the other stuff.

I have. It's my kitchen floor :o I hate scrubbing/ mopping it :oMy parents have ordered me a steam moppy thing :) but it hasn't come yet :(

So it looks like you, me and decogecko need a HHM (mopping) session adding to our dailies. Anyone else like to join our merry band lol?:rotfl:

Let me know how you get on with the steam moppy thing. We have no central heating here so floors take an age to dry and we end up with damp problems. I don't know if the steam one would help or hinder.

After a productive day indoors yesterday which included 5 x WM and 7 x TD, I'm all caught up and am going out into the sunshine for 2 hours garden tidying.

Anyone want to join me at 11am for a HH challenge?

    Morning all

TMD and crew, I hate mopping the kitchen floor! We have a front and back door in the room so whilst not on a farm it is the entrance to the house for all of us and the mogs. Bathroom floor I do as a H&K job but mop the hall and shower room too which I don't mind as much (probably because they are not as dirty).

I really have to settle to writing this report now.
