All lists done level one and two.
Was at A&E with DD yesterday for four hours. She was in agony on Friday night with it. Crying with pain and had to come down the stairs on her bum. Been having problem for ages. It was xrayed but they can't find a problem. Said it may be arthritis. Told her to go back to her GP.
Today I've hoovered right through and done dailies. Towels washed and hung on airier. A sleety rain here today but had snow yesterday. Time for a cuppa then catch up on TV I've recorded.
It's mopping with me too. Even though it could be done before I go to bed or out to work.
Hugs sticks and spoons where needed.0 -
Dd and I both had mad half hour which turned into mad hour. So lounge tidied, kitchen cleaned and hall cleared. Even pulled out unit in hallway - cold have made another dog with the fur, yuck!
Settees pulled out, no fur balls thanks to the carpet now laid in lounge. Right cuppa time and Miss Marple!2015 £2 Saver #82

Just feel the need to tell you all that I have no ironing pile! It's all done! This has not happened for a loooong time
As my house has generally stayed tidy this week, next weeks flying should be so much easier (in theory!!).
Off to M & D's for Sunday lunch shortly so the kitchen will stay tidy too.0 -
Hello all.
>Not me anymore!
Washing outside drying again - been an excellent half term for a keen washer and ironer :rotfl:
Now I can find these
but no dusting smily?
Ironed yesterdays washing; that's airing on the maiden now and then I will iron the stuff from the line; even though it's bitterly cold it is dry.
Bossy - maybe wait a fewcouple of years with your son? I started DD off dancing; she wasn't keen so we left it a couple of years and tried again and she then danced for a l-o-o-n-g time.
We've had sunday lunch, chicken was melt in the mouth; we had mash, roasties, carrots, cauli, Yorkshire Puddings (crosses self as is a Lancashire lass;)) and HM rice pudding done in the top oven.

Not me anymore!
Thanks Valli. Did you send it here instead? We were supposed to be diving today, but are both full of colds so not possible. Instead I have fluttered, and watched a BRILLIANT rugby match. No way we should have won:D but I'm not complaining.:rotfl:
Just made a spicy lentil and spinach curry for tomorrow night. If we are still feeling yucky by then it will certainly clear out all the tubes:eek:GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
Aw sorry Cat - no, I didn't, but I'm such a kind and generous person :rotfl: I have to share!

Which is 100-90-9 more than I did. One of the things I have learned from being a Flylady is that it will get done when it gets done, and as long as no-one gets poisoned from the dust, fluff and crumbs, it's clean enough. Go gentle on yourselves, New Flyladies. It will all fall into place even if you only do Level 1 [STRIKE]every day[/STRIKE] as often as you can.
The reason I seldom get around to mopping the kitchen floor (in particular, but also the bathroom, shower room and cupboard-under-the-front-stops) is that I have not been able to find the right mop for years. Eons ago, Squeegee used to make a spongy floor mop that squeezed all of the water out of the sponge when you flick-flacked the handle, and sadly, I quite liked doing that. All I can find now are useless things that leave most of the water in the sponge, with the result that the floor is sodden for hours unless I get down on my hands and knees. Life's too short for women to spend any of it on their knees and most men should only need to go down on a bended but once in their lives. Bring back Squeegees that actually work, and then I might, note only might, wash the kitchen floor every week. (All that bucket nonsense - who's got time?)
Thank you LW for your gentle words and hugs to Dog. She has relented and will now eat chicken if we leave her alone in the house for an hour or so, so that's a help. Now that her meds are taken with sugar and white chocolate, they're sorted - for the moment.Better is good enough.0 -
It is done, the report is finished! I feel so light!
Time to empty the WM and cook dinner. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Had a meal out by accident last night - "Accident" being the operative word as I had water dripping through my kitchen light fittings from my ensuite above :eek::eek:
Lack of sleep came home to roost with a vengeance, Skint Baby was asleep so I said to DD3 I was going down for a nap and to "keep an eye" on DS. This to DD3 mind meant turn up the TV in my room so she could listen to it while putting her make up at the mirror in the hallway ready for her party about 3 hours too early, thereby allowing DS to write his name in toothpaste on my ensuite floor, getting it on his trousers, trying to wash his trousers in the sink and flooding the sink and floor, then trying dry up the floor with every clean towel in my lovely Anthea folded stack.
The increased volume of the TV meant in my near comatised state I couldn't hear the pump on the hot water, which normally would have me on high alert.
Ensuite properly mopped up, I had to leave the kitchen light fittings to "dry out" on their own before risking turning the lights on.....cooking by torch light would have been a recipe for disaster hence the meal out.
Lights are back on tonight, without incident, so thankfully it hasn't cost me anything but the price of a carvery
EX has pulled an abort on seeing kids this weekend completely, I am going to have to make this up to DS otherwise poor boy is going to be bouncing off the walls waiting for next weekend.
