I'm with you all on the mopping. It's the one job that always gets left - despite the dog prints. Definitely needs forcing into my list.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Weekend tasks all but finished; Mr LW is just about to start ironing the final shirt.:A
BM is on, making a tomato loaf; we haven't had one of those in ages. Dins today will be veggie sausages and some random root veggies that could do to be used up, with Marmite gravy.
Piggers it seems to me that the sooner you can put this weekend behind you, the better.
Ooh, I almost forgot - my duster-onna-stick is falling apart; it's about 23 years old, with a lambswool duster bit, and the plastic thingy holding this onto the stick has broken. I managed to tape it up with parcel tape, but Mr LW insisted we look for a new one whilst we were in town yesterday getting my missing meds. Managed to get one, in J/L£wis's; it's got a microfibre head, and a lovely grippy handle, so should be easy to use.:T So I'm looking forward to getting back to my proper Flying schedule this week.:D
Does it make me a particularly sad person that I can get excited about a new duster-onna-stick, I wonder?:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
No, Wolfie, not at all:D
Although I will concede it would be great to have something fluffy and frivolous to be excited about;)‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

LW - new duster thingy - very exciting. You may remember me getting all a dizzy about my new mop. However, that exitement hasn't lasted and mopping only gets done throughout about once a week now. I will not be adding it to the dailies as life it too short.
Today, I've made apple crumbles for tonight and for the freezer, changed bedding on our bed and......that's it. Waiting for DH to come back from shop to sit with SickDog and I'll take the other two out.
Hope everyone is having a good day.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
LW No not sad at all. I did the same thing yesterday - Lakeland. (Dangerous shop!) I have just spent 1/2HR anihilating spiders webs. Sooooo satisfying.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

A bit low mood lately and I was getting annoyed with all the things I haven't done and then I re-read the welcome from Toots and forgave myself for being so hard on myself.
Instead of beating myself up over having missed all the levels since Wednesday I am just going to do a list of 'musts' for today and get on with that instead.
Here goes:
Get myself and family dressed (lazy Sunday today)
Stain remove school jacket and wash
Put the washing away
Empty dishwasher and load
Quick wipe all surfaces with wipes
Take kid to soft play
Do budgeting envelopes for March
Shopping list for diet including loads of fruit
Shopping
Hope I have enough energy to get it all done.
I will come on later and do some scores through what I've achieved. :-)Discharged from Trust Deed in December 2012.:j

Please don't ever feel bad about not doing a list that some random person on the internet has posted who has never been in your house:D Plus you have a new baby and are dealing with an estate. I have none of those things and did about 1/10 of the list this week:p
Report writing going well. My committee won't know what's hit them tomorrow. I'm a woman on a mission
Also cleared out the grate, relaid the fire and lit, filled the kindling and coal buckets, made lunch for DS3 and myself. Just eating lunch then I'll make a cuppa, wash up and get back to it. DH is not feeling well. I think it is the stress of his Dad being ill so I'm going easy on him;)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Back in the house after pootling in the garden. Having a quick shower then off out to watch DS playing footie and chilling as I'm in work from 5 till 10 tonight.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016
