I know. I suppose I just feel like a pain because I've been so many times before with my PND and health anxiety etc..and I've been when struggling with my weight and looking for answers (that probs weren't there re that)!
Like I say, he just sends me for bloods and when they come back normal, leaves it at that!!x0 -
Hmm. I read a book once that suggested sometimes when people go to the GP, the doc feels at a loss as to what the patient wants them to do.
Maybe think about what you want out of the appointment as well as just saying how you feel.

Do you know, that probably makes sense. Have never really thought of it like that before. Even though it is obvious.

Suppose I probably don't know how to explain myself to the point because I probably 'expect' the doc will know what to do!x0 -
That's exactly what the book said - docs often feel at a loss as many symptoms could be from different causes and if bloods etc come back clear there's not a lot else they can do!
Write down what you want if you think you might not remember, and book a double appointment if necessary.

Butter is fine, lots of vitamins, and it's really not the fat that makes you fat, it's the carbs which raise your insulin and cause you to store the exess carbs as fat and then stop your body releasing the fat to use as fuel...
Honey also isn't bad for you.
What you're possibly not appreciating though is that your healthy cereal bars are essentially just carbs, there's precious little protein in there and by your own admission only a small amount of fat. If you consider that fat and protein are actually crucial for life (and carbs aren't) that's rather an obvious skew in the wrong direction. If you can't face anything before you go out then try frittatas (crustless quiche), you can make them in bulk in silicon muffin cases and keep them in the fridge then put them in a lunch box and eat when you get to work.
Well done on the run
No No No.
Do you really think you can survive without any carbohydrate in the diet?

You can certainly survive without processed carbs.
90% of my carbs come from fruit and veg - my diet is high protein.

Sorry for that - it just shocked me because you put that carbs were not necessary.

Still a bit unsure what to say without rambling lol!
Have a smear booked so thought i might as well kill 2 birds so to speak.
It's quiet on here recently - I hope everyone is well. Even if you're bingeing or overeating or whatever, feel free to post. We may be able to support!xx0
