Why Is There Not Much Help For Binge Eating Disorder (and if there is, where is it?)

Just been reading about the zero noodles, they contain Glucomannan which is a sugar made from the root of a plant.
 http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-205-GLUCOMANNAN.aspx?activeIngredientId=205&activeIngredientName=GLUCOMANNAN
Glucomannan is used for constipation, weight loss in adults and children, type 2 diabetes, blood sugar control, and lowering cholesterol.
In foods, glucomannan is used as a thickener or gelling agent. Glucommanan flour and powder are used in food.
 How does it work?
Glucomannan might work in the stomach and intestines by absorbing water to form a bulky fiber which treats constipation. It may also slow the absorption of sugar and cholesterol from the gut, helping to control sugar levels in diabetes, and reducing cholesterol levels.0

Well I went out for my meal and it was lovely! I did have the stuffed mushrooms - yum! I also had fillet steak (no horsemeat here!) and it was cooked to perfection. I had some veg and one small boiled potato. I then had a HUGE portion of ben and jerry's (oops).
Have to say I feel very tired and rough today - a bit like I'm hungover (I don't drink). I can only assume that is my body recovering from all of the food last night, in particular the sugary ice cream!0

Daska - can I ask what kind of sauces or accompaniments you have with your courgette spaghetti?0

Oh no! My beautiful children came bearing a HUGE box of chocs :-S.
What to do. Do I pretend I have eaten them and bin them as I go along (something I have never been able to bring myself to do before)?0

Can you re-gift them or share between the children in sandwich bags?
I've been so ill for a week, might be bronchitis not sure, so not feeling strong enough to avoid sugar! Have gone off the rails and feel very bloated and out of shape and uncomfortable. Will resume when feeling better 0 0

Delighted girl here - my squad came 8th in their cheer competition and got a shiny trophy!
Have gone a bit off-the-rails carb-wise this weekend though. Back to it tomorrow!

They're already open so can't re-gift but good idea about letting the kids have them. I had to eat some earlier because they expected it.
I have been in bed since 3 this afternoon so think my carb flu may be a virus or something. I do suffer fatigue a lot though so could just be having one of them days!
Jox - hope you feel better soon!x
HBS - well done!!:T you must be very proud!0

I am indeed very proud - I admit there were a few tears afterwards

            Thanks HBS.x
I'm not sure whether I should make an appointment again with my GP. Although I always get anxious when I do because i always just feel like a pain.
I am sick of feeling tired and unwell all of the time. I suffer from period type pains at all times during the month. I also have this TMJ which means I sometimes don't get quality sleep.
I was feeling below par a few weeks ago when the kids were poorly and now I am again today - so much so I was literally too tired for work. I called in sick. Sometimes I feel like this but not quite so bad so it doesn't affect work much usually.
I have mentioned this chronic tiredness before and my GP has always said 'it's depression'. I don't feel depressed though. I have had depression on and off for years and this is not what my depression has ever felt like. I am quite happy to admit when I am going down That route.
I have had my thyroid and bloods checked over the years and nothing comes of them.
I know my diet (or lack of quality diet) probably doesn't help but I just wish I could get rid of these ailments and feeling carp all the time.
Sorry for rambling - I'm not looking for any answers here, just venting, I suppose!x0

Don't feel like a pain - GPs are paid to deal with patients!
