Sorry for deserting you peeps - I'm back with a slightly new identity, haha!
I hope everyone's week is going great so far. It's been all about biking and running (but mostly biking) for me the past few days.
Do any of you go blood doning? I wouldn't exercise the same day after giving blood but I see no reason why I shouldn't do a 10km run in the morning and donate in the afternoon, unless anyone knows different?
Weather's not been so good0 -
I have been gym on way home and managed 35 mins on CT and it bored me to tears, think I might go on treadmill next time instead. Have upped the weights as well today, put more weights on the machines and have tried 3 reps of 10 instead of 2 and did 4 reps on ab cruncher of 15 making it 60 overall. I have foolishly booked in for the circuit training tomorrow evening at 7pm, been told it is full of birds and so now I am really panicing about it :rotfl: The last time I did a class like this was in a gym full of blokes all wearing green so am not happy about being put to shame by these women which is what will happen
Never know I may get the sympathy vote and pull out of it? I suppose I shouldnt be hung up about it but without going I wont know so gonna just say eff it and live for the moment and if I enjoy it I will go once a week as it is brilliant cardio workout that also tones to and loses fat.

Hey you're back :j Did you get kicked off?
Not donated blood, always wanted to though.. Maybe you could give them a ring and check? I don't see that it would be a problem though, i'm sure some people prob walk or cycle to the donating place, so that would have the same effect on the blood?BSC Member 155

5 min run / 3 min walk / 2 min run..
12 min cycle
5 mins rowing machine
3 mins arm cycle machinedunno what it's called...
30 sit ups.. 2 x 15
Various arm/chest weight machines.
I feel like i've died and gone to hellthe run was especially hard, and I was sweating like a pig

Aye, working out at home really helps.. I just have a cheap set of dumbells.. I highly recommend getting some! I tend to just pick them up at various points throughout the day (especially in the evening when i'm bored  )... It stops me snacking as much and builds up the muscles.
Also, the cycling helps, altho only been twice, but it still helps...
My body shape is changing already.. :T :j
But yeh, running is my nemesis right now..I really could do with running around the block more often but i'm too self conscious! When the darker evenings come it will be easier..

Oh wow where did that weekend go?? I havent been skivving off exercise just been well busy.
Fri - I manged to get the OH out on a bike road, we just cycled at a nice pace round all the back roads....jeez never notice those hills while driving! I thought we had cycled about 6 mile but when I mapped it it turned out to be 9 1/2 miles.
Saturday night I had a mini crisis (absent fathers, long story) I was so bloody angry saturday night I had to go out for a run at 9.30 pm...it was that or commit a crime!:rotfl: OH was starting to worry as it was dark when I got home.
Sunday was a short run and a long dog walk.
Monday - no CV work just pressups and situps oh and the wii sport was out for a while.
Tues - pressups, and I worked the arms with dumb bells.0 -
Doesnt take long for the body to change shape G-G....makes all that exercise worthwhile when u can see the results. Thats why I love walking and jogging so much it makes my thigh muscles appear long and lengthend so looking thinner....and we all love thin thighs0
