Many happy returns, John - remember, you're like a fine wine, only getting better with age
G-G - I've been trying to work out your description of your bench presses...do you mean that your upper back/shoulders are "floating" I guess, between the table and the chair?
If so, I'd be a little careful - just seems like it might not be the best thing for your back...You could always just lie with your upper half on the edge of the table and do one arm at a time...that'll keep your back supported a bit better0 -
Sorry, yeah, not the best description
I have taken a photo of my set up
I Have my body on the table, head & shoulders on the chair (just about).. and so I can bench press the weights.. and also hold my arms out to the side and lift the weights up, to meet above my head (in the air)..
There is just enough room too allow my arms to move, which is handy..
Do you think that is ok?BSC Member 155

haha - I know.. it's got to be better than Jeremy Kyle tho:rolleyes:
well, i'm actually doing work on my laptop, so it's just background noise..
I mapped out a 8.5 mile route on my mountainbike this morning, didn't actually do it thoughi'm just too shattered from Ingleborough still, my legs are killing me. Plus I took the dogs out for a 2 mile quick march last night.. really walked as fast as I could.. so now my legs really hurt..
Got Yoga Thursday, Snowboarding Friday, and then maybe mountainbike at the weekend or monday..
I think I will go out on it today for a 3 mile loop around the lakes if the weather stays nice, just to keep my muscles working..
Where is missyg, misspointy and sara?! Not seen em for ages!? I do hope they havn't gone and started their own serious fitness thread.. Hope you ladies are ok.. :ABSC Member 155
