I love team sports but since I had 3 operations to repair my messed up ankle (sporting injury) that is out for me - too much twisting and turning.
I used to never feel like it was excercise, I just loved it so much. But then I am quite competitive (very actually) and have always been sporty so I know team sports aren't for everyone.0 -

I used to play LOTS of football. I used to be really sporting and picked up most sports really easily.
I got athritis in my foot (big toe ball joint), an old footie injury, and haven't played since. I'm off to play work 5 a sides at half four today....Nervous but hopefully noone stamps on my foot. Should be fun!John

I like team sports aswell... one thing that used to keep me ultra fit was diving.. it was brilliant! Scuba diving that is
Carry two tonnes of gear everywhere certainly builds up your muscles and burns fat..
I should get back into it reallyBSC Member 155

Always wanted to try diving. I'd get eaten by a shark though. I would hear the chello everytime my head went under the water!John

Well I have had a right wobbler of a weekend, out Fri and Sat and drank around 18 pints, 4 double vodka redbulls and maybe 8 cans. One was a mates birthday and the other was "a couple" with my dad which turned into the pair of us coming in with very wobbly knees
Getting back on it now and staying in for a weeks to start the reveloution again, just wish it was easy to do things as much as it is the say them0 -
You drank how much?!

OUCH!!
Played my footie last night and nearly crippled myself - Damn athritic big toe. How old do I feel...Lesser men would've cried;)
I dragged myself out of bed this morning and hit the gym at 6 for a weights session with 30 minutes cardio. Off to the gym again at lunchtime for 45 minutes cardio and if the weather holds out - Off for a run after tea tonight.
Managing to stay away from crap food and been of the ale since....rofl...Sunday!John
