    Morning folks!

    I SEE SNOWWWWWWWWWW :j :j :j

Oooh pity about the snowboarding injury G-G. Where were you? Looks beautiful. I hope you got some good boarding in before you hurt yourself?

I know what you mean about the classes G-G. I did probably 20 or so classes of different things last year but I don't bother with them now. I find I exercise better on my own anyway :)

Last night I did an hour on the cross trainer which wasn't planned as it was supposed to be a rest day :rotfl: I feel good for it though!

Today is definitely a rest day as I've done 6 consecutive days of really good effort this week. If I do anything at all it will be no more than 30 minutes light effort :)

    Afternoon Missy! :)

It was in Les Menuries, France, about 18months ago now :) was lovely :) I think I did my rib on day 4 of a 7 day holiday, but it didn't hurt too much.. :o more when I laughed.. I think the amount of alcohol I drank that week acted like a Morphine based pain killer :D

I did 15 mins of an exercise video, was bored, unco-ordinated and wasn't even breaking a sweat.. so I could be bothered.

Badminton has moved to tomorrow now..

Well done for the hours cross trainer! Wow... I need to get as much done as you do.. :rotfl:

Ah, good old "4th day syndrome" - well known to us (ex) ski reps! (although some reckon it's 3rd day syndrome!)

I love Les Menuires, one of my fave resorts.

I just did 5k in the gym, and, although it is normally easier on the treadmill than on the road, I did it with my OH and he is fitter than I'll ever be, so I was trying to show off. It hurts now!

Showing off is my biggest problem, I always end up breaking myself somehow.. :o

I know what you mean. I find treadmill's a LOT easier than roadrunning. That doesn't mean I find them easy though!! :)

I find I can go on the cross trainer for ages at a time. I just have one problem...After about 20 minutes my feet get pins and needles. I've spoke to other people who say that they get the same thing. This put my mind at rest as I thought I had a dodgey ticker or something :)

Do you suffer from the also missy?

I get numb feet on the cross trainer too! I don't believe the cross trainer though when it tells you how many calories you have burnt. An hour on the cross trainer doesn't leave me anything like as exhausted as an hour on the treadmill.
Is my 10k day today, and am going with the OH again. I can't keep up with him but he runs marathons and I don't (have done half marathons and do 10k races sometimes). Then after that it is upper arms. Did abs yesterday after our run and just starting to get a bit sore.

    Thank God I'm not alone;)

I don't believe any of the machines calculated calorie burns - They all seem artificially high. Although bear in mind that it's easier to slow down without noticing on the CT, whereas a treadmill runs at a constant speed.

I've never been a big runner but going out to do 4miles (6.8Km) today. Not looking forward to it and I will beging slowly. Using the old run/walk/run/walk intervals. I'll post back here later to enusre you guys know I made it back in one piece!:rotfl:
